whats a good place that people have been making a settlement at?
What an incredibly high expectation for a screenshot. I hope you don't actually expect people to do that.
Well if you want people to be able to see what you're trying to show them you can take the 30 seconds it takes to do that. Otherwise you end up with a blurry mess that you can barely see any detail in.
I'm stuck in the Freedom Line side quest, I'm not sure what I should be doing to progress it. I [sp] checked the floor plates with the cipher on it, and figured out that they spell "RAILROAD" if ordered correctly, but how do I make the character make that connection? I tried reading the codes in order but it didn't do anything[/sp] Help
Spent 30 minutes editing my couple, went with Wife as playable. Spent an hour or so building a settlement. Leveled up twice while doing so. I WANT TO EXPLORE, DAMN IT. Why did they make it addicting? Quick Question, though. How do you move a placeable object up/down? I can only seem to rotate it. I have beds floating feet off the ground that cannot be placed unless I build a 2 floor and spawn a bed through the floor. On PS4.
holy jesus as someone running a toaster that was getting a near constant ~20 fps everywhere at 1280x720 on all low, that gave a really noticeable fps boost
Glad I helped man. I actually lowered my resolution to 1280-720, put priority to high and I'm able to actually run it at a decent framerate now with ultra textures and full AA. Fuck yes

Ok, does anyone else have a problem running it in fullscreen? Windowed (and borderless) works fine on all resolutions, but if I try it in fullscreen at all it launches then crashes instantly. I don't need it to be windowed+borderless, as without it I'd gain some frames. Is there a solution to this problem, or am I just fucked?
By the way, to those of you who dislike the radio host, you can [sp]do a quest for him[/sp] and actually change all his lines and his tone to make him more charismatic and stuff
How do you craft/repair/improve power armor? Is that doable?
They should have had Ron Perlman be a radio host.
i can't remember if this was a feature in the other games but i love how shit can go on in the background while you're talking to people besides the explosions and gunfire i sometimes hear when talking to an NPC, this is my favorite moment that's happened to me so far :v: [VID]https://my.mixtape.moe/jdkjef.webm[/VID]
Okay so.. Ive been playing for about 24 hours nonstop now.. Its an okay game.

I've lost connection to steam entirely now. I curse the very soil you're built upon, HUGHESNET
How do you craft/repair/improve power armor? Is that doable?
Go to one of these things (there should be one in the gas station where you find the dog) and exit your power armor while standing inside it. There should be an option on the stand now to repair and modify the armor.
I think maybe the biggest step up in this game is the quality of some of the characters. Like, not all of them obviously but there's a decent amount that are actually pretty memorable, [sp]Piper, Valentine, the store owners in Diamond City, Danse, the mayor's secretary are all really distinct.[/sp] I've slept since I last played and I can actually remember the names and personalities of the characters in this game. I've literally never been able to say that about a Beth game before.
I kind of hate how you have to manage and repair each part of your power armor. Imagine if you had to refill your car with gas all the time in GTA.
Fallout 4 keeps alternating between working perfectly fine for hours and immediately crashing when I try to start the game. I don't understand why and it's infuriating because I really want to play right now :v:
follot for (4)
Can you post your Ini's for your game?

Well, if it can run on a desktop HD4600, it should run on my laptop. I know what I'll be begging for come holidaytime.
oh my god.. Fallout 4 maybe or may not have caused my GPU to Windows Device Manager Error 43.. I've downloaded the nvidia FO4 ready driver just for this game, and the damn driver crashed a total of 4 times before it finally made windows go "Nope, error 43. Gonna pretend this hardware doesn't exist now". I'm typing this shit in 800x600 res right now. I can barely read anything. Spent the last 2 hours trying to get this fixed.. eugghhh no progress at all.
Found bug: If you open steam overlay you need to restart game else tab button is fucked. Thank god there are SSDs.

This game really is colorful, and I don't mean just the fact that it has a ton of colors.
I was having a jolly early morning in the commonswealth wasteland, going for a cold dip in a pond when suddenly [sp]Swan[/sp] rises up next to me and proceeds to wreck my shit while in powerarmor, until I made it to the gazebo and emptied the laser gun that [sp]Brotherhood of steel dude gives to you[/sp]
Found bug: If you open steam overlay you need to restart game else tab button is fucked. Thank god there are SSDs.
Shift tabbing in then shift tabbing back out again normally fixes it for me.
Survival mode is really fun for me, enemies feel like they are equal to the player character. Although I would like FOD, H2O and SLP to return.
Why can't I find any Clothing that's as good or better than the Vault suit? Is it the only goddamn thing I can upgrade? fshdshfdhg
Can't wait for a mod that adds more favorite hotkeys. Would be nice having stimpacks on F1 or something.
