Huh, I've just realised; a branch of my family went off to Boston in the 1600s and founded a load of shit. Wonder if there's any references to the Tuppers.
The only bug I got so far, and only twice, weapon models disappearing, it made me restart the game, apart from that some various performance drops, especially in the interiors. Other than that, nothing else.
Glad to see Bethesda is still racist towards AZERTY players.
I can't even walk forward or strafe left while building, only backwards and right. It makes the whole thing incredibly tedious.
My settlement at sanctuary size bar is nearly full and i haven't built much at all.
Do the other buildings placed by bethesda count towards the size meter?
If not, I really hope a mod comes out that removes the limit.
Been waiting for hours for it to download after the pitiful disc download of 5gb!:cry:
In stead I cleaned up and here is the shitty result.

Wow dude, you have a real handgun? Your flag dog is not united states
If you're using a 970 and have perfomance issues in the cities, try setting godrays to low. Fixed it for me
Runs like shit for me, hopefully they release new drivers today.
What are you running?
First quest help, where I've [sp]just met the settlers. I gotta unlock the room with the fusion core in Concord, but I have no bobby pins to lockpick and I fucked up the computer terminal hacking.[/sp]
I've searched high and low for bobby pins but can't find them anywhere, what do I do?
Also, this game runs super janky for me even though I've got a GTX970. Aiming guns is really horrible, like my guy is aiming through a sea of molasses, and running around is very juttery and annoying.
Lol, where do people keep finding these bugs...
Okay well, for me the first encountered Deathclaw ran into a wall, got knocked in the air, and died. It was a pleasant surprise because I had some serious trouble bringing its HP down..
Other bug I had was the hand/weapon/pipboy going invisible, but it's hot-fixed by going 3rd person and back to 1st person. But man, for me this game's performance is nearing 100%, no graphical bugs, no crashing, no nothing.
Besides stupid shit like dogmeat thinking hes a landshark and that credits not working thing, I've only had FPS drops for a couple secounds while it loads some areas, which was better than expected, this is a launch day Bethesda game.
NVidia GeForce control panel thing put the optimized graphics for me so I dunno if it's even to do with the graphics setting or if this is just how Fallout is. It's really really wank and I can't fully enjoy myself cause I'm constantly battling the cumbersome controls and shitty aiming.
Legendary deathclaw is a evil monster.
Honestly I'm finding myself using the enemies to make them fight eachother more in this game. Now I'll make legendary enemies fight eachother to save ammo

You can retry terminals now after 10 seconds.

Computer unlocks from lockout after 10seconds thank god
Alright so none of the FOV fixes work, because the game just reverts back to the default even when I use the ingame fov command. What do?
If you're using the in-game console command you have to follow the command with refreshini. This command stops the game from reverting back to default FOV 80.
I updated my quick guide on Page 1 here with all the details. Hopefully it works for everyone now.
you have a high sneak skill pieclock
fuck my automerge
How does hacking even work? I don't understand it. If I spam symbols, it gives an error. If I spam one of the strings of words, it usually rejects it. Do I just have to keep trying word strings until it eventually says correct?

That FOV guide isn't perfect, and there's some mistakes here and there but it should do the trick nonetheless. As i said before fDefault1stPersonFOV has nothing to do with the viewmodel, though.

Click on a word and it should tell you the likeness of the correct word. The likeness is the correct letter & the correct positioning of that letter.
Say the correct letter was seed, and you clicked weed, you would get a likeness of 3 saying the last 3 characters are the same and they're also in the same position. It's a process of elimination.
You can also click pairs of brackets that get closed in the same lines to remove fake words, or to get back your attempts.
I'm running this game perfectly fine with everything on high with a 750. I'm actually pretty impressed.
Sciene bobblehead gives you one extra hacking attempt; pretty badass

I understand it's not perfect, but I also cannot test it myself as i'm at work. I've combined the details from several sources including the Steam Guide, Wiki and Reddit.
Change the Field of View
Locate the following three files
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Fallout4.ini
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Fallout4Prefs.ini
Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 4\Fallout4\fallout4_default.ini
The following lines have to match in all three files:
(do not place under [interface])
[Display]
fDefaultWorldFOV=90
fDefault1stPersonFOV=90
Next to change the gun model and pip-boy use the in-game console with the following commands:
FOV 90
refreshini
NOTES:
Apparently the FOV has to be in multiples of 10 or it will not work
You may have to disable read-only on each file, but make sure to change it back afterwards
refreshini will make it so your game will not revert to the default
Default FOV is 80
If one of the words has a correct letter in the right spot, it has a likeness of the amount of correct letters.
if password is DOG
CAT -> 0
BAT -> 0
DOT -> 2
DOG -> 3
If you click on symbols that have <any amount of characters> like <{{"0>, then when you click on the "<" either some wrong passwords are removed, or you get your # of tries reset to 4. This also works with: {},[],<>,()
If the above setup were correct, it would be the best to choose DOG first (by luck) but if say, you choose CAT, you'll get a 0 back. Because you know that CAT is completely wrong, any password that shares a letter in the same spot is also wrong, making DOG, a completely different word, a good choice to try.
I just got my pipboy edition, just tested the phone thing, and I gotta say, It just work!
Thanks for the hacking help.
Any guides online regarding fixing performance? The game should be running a lot smoother than it is, but I dunno why that's not the case. Stuttery, low FPS, etc. even though game and NVidia recommended the graphics settings I'm on.
Both the Steam guide and the Wiki state that fDefault1stPersonFOV refers to the user's viewmodel (weapon) FOV.
They're both wrong then. It was probably the case for older titles, but not for FO4, not according to what i tested at least.
Otherwise no worries. This guide is the best guide i've found when it comes to FOV, maybe you should add it.

That is the guide I'm using bro...
EDIT:
But I see what you're saying. The description is incorrect on the wiki and I fixed this on my guide. Apparently the in-game console commands should change the weapon models and pip-boy, but you have to make sure to use the refreshini command. Save your game afterwards and you shouldn't have to do this again.
FOV 90
refreshini
I love how Bethesda has fixed one of the biggest complaints from the world of fallout 3, where everybody just stopped giving a shit, no effort to rebuild, literally living in shitty steel shacks.
While in fallout 4 it actually feels like people are trying to survive, farmers planting crops, actual cities where infrastructure is still in place (that arent just settlements full of people) etc
I walked back towards a campsite and saw an NPC in the distance standing in a t-pose, i walked closer and the game just fucking hard crashed with a loud gunshot looping sound. Almosted pissed myself
Anyone else having a problem with tab not working right? I have to press shift then tab to exit menus or open/exit the Pip-boy.
Anyone know about the quest to talk to the director Mr. handy [sp] of that galleria filed with other Mr. Handy's, anyone know where to find the ID card that the director wants? I keep failing the speech check and he kills my ass on the tower [/sp]
