Hype aside is the writing or story that good in Fallout 4? I've been reading some reviews and the most consistent complaints I see are the cardboard writing (Especially in the dialogue options how it boils down to "Yes" "Funny Yes" "Yes if I get money" "No" in 99% of dialogue encounters) boring plotline [sp] Yay you're chasing down a family member again![/sp]
I'm not a fan of the dialogue in FO4, no. But if you can look past that it still manages to be really enjoyable. Some of the writing is kind of garbage, sure. But some of the characters are awesome. Like Detective Valentine.
This blurry texture shit is garbage. It refuses to load the correct LoD textures and instead retains the low blob textures, and quickloading is the only thing that fixes it. Until you move 150 feet then it's back to Low-LoD-Land

Got the latest drivers?
Got the latest drivers?
I have AMD. I may as well have the drivers the gameboy used
I'm on the latest, at least
Getting real tired of wearing the Vault suit for so long. I've yet to find anything else compatible with armor pieces that actually has any defense, and the regular armour I'm finding are terrible.
Oh shit, I found out my dad got Fallout 4 for the Xbox and he didn't even tell me! I only found out when he installed it and left it up on the screen on his small personal TV next to the main TV, normally I don't use the Xbox (but I'll make an exception for Fallout).
Sneaky bastard.
Been fucking around in cheat engine for the last hour or so trying to freeze the size counter for settlements with no luck. Anyone else more proficient using CE want to give it a shot? Closest I got was finding the addresses for the amount of player created objects.
Woop. I figured it out! I've removed the building object limit.
Has anyone found the enclave/x-01 power armor? I know its in an abandoned shack yet I have no clue exactly where that is
I think one of the houses had a cellar door, it could be down there.
Nah I checked there too, here's a screenshot I grabbed of where it has a high signal if anyone has any ideas
[t]http://i.imgur.com/5AwvxIf.jpg[/t]
I've checked the entire building, I've checked every NPC in and around the building, I've checked the roof, I even tcl'd and looked under the building, nothing.
Woo my pc is now dead.
I'm probably won't get another shot at fallout until many months later.
The fun stock digital crisis of getting my key hours after it has already been released and now this.
Do you know what part died?
EnB when?
Can someone please repost that mirror image of neckbeard husband and beaten wife?

What happens if you do movetoQT?
Get rid of ironsights blur:
setgs "fIronSightsDOFStrength" 0
Do I put this in the ini or enter it ingame via the console?
Also, has anyone found out what to alter/add to the ini file to disable depth of field? Really tired of everything getting blurry whenever I talk with someone.
Has anyone been able to interact with the [sp]gunners or syndicate[/sp]? Or are they forever the bad guys?
I met the [sp]railroad[/sp] faction by mistake as I overheard someone and thought they were talking about joining the [sp]syndicate[/sp]. Killed all those fuckers, especially because all the dialogue options were about joining them and nothing along the lines of "I'm here to kill you all".
What happens if you do movetoQT?
I'll have to check later cause I'm gonna sleep now but it isn't a quest so I don't think it'll do anything, it just randomly appeared as a signal when I fast traveled back to Sanctuary.

Seems like it needs the quest ID to work now.

Here's a link to the cheat engine table for anyone else who wants to build with no limits:

You can just use TGM in the console and build with infinite resources
Is there a list for all the weapons in the game?
I found out you can put goggles on Dogmeat

So the general consensus I see right now is that I should wait to get Fallout 4 until it's gotten more patches, mods and general upkeep?
How do trading posts in your settlement work? How do I get stuff for him to sell?
Will it disable achievments IF you use the console?

Shame it doesn't affect crafting and that it sets bottle caps to 999 when building so you can't afford the shops for 1000 and beyond :v:
I'm so god damn tired of missing adhesives for every craft I gave myself 500.

I'm having a real blast in the game. It's great fun. If you want to save cash you could probably wait a bit and then get a CD-key during Christmas.
Was super psyched that Salem was included in the game, Was absolutely not disappointed by scary shit in that town.

Enter it via the in-game console. It'll be stored in your save.

If you play on PC yes. It's why I bought it for console, I mean, I know I'm gonna buy it on Steam soon too, but by then maybe the experience will be sorta different

This is also why I didn't get the PC version yet. I want the vanilla experience with no potential to cheat using console, cause I'm WEAK and I know I will when I can. But right now, having to scavenge for duct tape and wonderglue so that I can make that one mod I really want actually makes me *feel* something
I did a thing.
