Be warned though, Creation engine does not play nice with console spawned NPCs. It will crash often.

I'm assuming you got it from the guy who roams around quite near to the starting town? I got it from him a bit later in the game, he'll show up at your settlements from time to time
Is there any way to select people in you settlement without going and looking for them? If I want someone to be assigned as guard I don't want to run around and find one, and then go back and click "command"
Also, an overview camera would be nice when you're in build mode.

Any weapon shop is likely to have it. Diamond City or Goodneighbour or faction

There's about 6 turrets hidden in murder holes all the way up the tower, 4 of them looking down on the only bridge into town. I also gave myself a massive penthouse at the very top to keep me away from all the filthy peasants

Here's my settlement now:

I'm enjoying this settlement stuff too much. Time to go find copper to make more lights.
So I found a relatively major bug that causes quite a few quests to be impossible to hand-in / complete.
Cambridge Police Station.
First time I went there it was fine, got quests, completed them.
I came back either the second or third time to hand in a quest I got after the first and the moment I enter the building I hear loud noises and once it finally loads I fall through the floor along with many of the items in the building.
Upon closer inspection I've found that for some reason a fucking black hole formed at the entrance and literally every item in the building is stuck in the doorway.
So now I'm forced to remember the refID's of the NPC's and just move them to me when I want to pick up / complete any quests. :v:

I just left it there, cleared out the building it was in and went to go loot shit. Some raiders scared the fuck out of me, so I was worried there might be some more. I turn a corner and the monkey just hits the drums together and its eyes start glowing
