Decided to remake my character as Ciri from Witcher 3, but I don't like flat out copying so I decided on a rendition instead. I love the character creation in this game.
if you use 'coc qasmoke' in console it teleports you to a room full of boxes that contains every single item in the game.
useful for finding item id's.
[sp]he survived? Where is he?[/sp]
[sp]You can find him at a hotel in Goodneighbors.[/sp]
Has anyone encountered the combat shotgun yet?
So I've narrowed down the problem to one likely thing. It seems Fallout 4 is conflicting with Nvidia's Optimus technology to differentiate between the CPU's integrated card for normal computer use and web browsing and the GPU for gaming. I'm not sure how to fix this but I'm fairly certain this is the issue.
Here's my settlement now:

I'm enjoying this settlement stuff too much. Time to go find copper to make more lights.
Where is that nice and flat terrain you are building on? I'm using sanctuary right now but it kinda sucks.
How do you get piper to change her clothes and the weapon she uses?
I give her the items but she doesn't do anything with them.
I don't know if I could ever really play Fallout 3 ever again

I've found like three or four so far. Creeps me out every time. I'm expecting to walk into a room completely filled with them eventually.
Oh and can you unlink two settlements if need be?
Damn, I love FO4 so much. It's consuming my every thought.

the one room with the mannequins in the museum early on scared the fuck out of me
I thought one of them would be a raider pretending to stand still, so I hit every mannequin to play it safe.

i always shoot them with a suppressed weapon because if they start going off they'll alert enemies in the area.
never before have i played a bethesda game, nay any video game, and deliberately stolen a random miscellaneous object, i'm in desperate need for adhesives, man

I got the short variant.
Although I can't really use it because the game is damn difficult even at normal plus caps and ammo are both hard for me to come by :(
Getting a better pc build in December, until then what are the best tools for optimization? The game is locked at 60fps for me as opposed to the 30fps that some people are experiencing which is good.
However a lot of the time it ranges from 25-40fps on ultra. It lags when there's so much world detail in my view - such as abandoned streets and dynamic lighting, for example.
they're basically proximity alarms
get to close and everyone goes "wtf enemy near by" and they literally head towards it
i found this out the hard way due to a legendary super mutant skirmisher :c
Which makes me want them more for my base.
So sad you can't take them, or make your own.
Has anyone encountered the combat shotgun yet?
I found one off a super mutant who somehow didn't kill me with it. Oh man it is nice
I love the gunplay in this game. and how attached you can get to guns
Ok that's fucking great I'm glad the combat shotgun is back in the saddle.

That scared me pretty badly too. Didn't help that I had just watched a 40 year old man describe how he bought two mannequins to fulfill his fetish.
How are people liking the hunting rifle?
[sp]I got one earlier, I fucking forget how. Pretty sure it was just in a safe. It seems alright, doesn't seem op as it was in fo3 but maybe I'm just not used to it yet[/sp]

I got one and "maxed" it out with mods, but it still feels nowhere near as powerful as it was in FO3.

I'm too vulnerable by having to take a few seconds after every shot. Otherwise it's.. alright. Only use it when I'm not swarmed by enemies.
Godrays should be at low. SSAO would be another frame destroyer and so would view distance.
It's practically the same, I'm going to troubleshoot by setting view distance insanely low
Has anyone else encountered a bug during the Shadow of Steel quest where [sp]When you're flying in the vertibird[/sp] the game crashes to desktop once it enters a certain cell of the map?, because it seems to be a problem with that specific area. Going there on foot crashes me to.
