Does [sp]joining the brotherhood[/sp] have any major ramifications?
How do you establish a trade route between locations?
In workshop mode, hit Q when looking at a settler. It seems most efficient if you send them all to a single "hub" location. I use red rocket, and all workshop resources will be shared between all settlements. I think, anyway.
How do you establish a trade route between locations?
If you have the required perk, you can press Q on unimportant settlers while in build mode to assign them to a supply route.

You need to have the local leader perk or whatever and then you can send one of your spare settlers off to do it from the workshop menu selection system for people
Wow :(
How viable is a melee only build?
Would love to take advantage of some of the Swords/Machetes in the game.
Oh yeah, my friends GPU likes to do this sometimes.

I just realized, Codsworth, [sp]Valentine, and Curie[/sp] are my go-to companions. Guess I have a thing for robots. :v:

Your friend is in a Vault-Tec Nuclear Apocalypse Simulation obviously.
Mind-fries through psychedelic mindfucks are not Vault-Tec responsibility thanks to the waiver to your soul that you signed to Todd Howard with the purchase of this product.
Question about the Drive-In settlement. Where the hell do you grow the crops. Just allover randomly or are there other food sources?
I grow 'em near the red semi

Using a controller would that just be the "a" button? What control screen for people are you talking about? I use the workshop menu but once I command them, I don't know what to do next.
I have the perk as well

Look at a settler who doesn't have a job in Workshop mode. Press LB.
It says across the bottom on the controls while looking at Settler (A Command, LB Supply Line, B Close)
Man, how are you supposed to build with the non-small/wooden shack walls? Shit leaves gaps everywhere.
I haven't done nearly anything with settlements yet... I should get on that
is there a way to unlock the raider hairstyles? mohawk, side shave with ponytail, etc?
is there a way to unlock the raider hairstyles? mohawk, side shave with ponytail, etc?
Apparently magazines will unlock new hairstyles.

I can buy most Ammo at a 1:1 ratio. Using 8 charisma + 2 cha black suit with 15% better prices perk.

Use a .45 weapon and do the Valentine quest, then you'll never need to buy ammo ever again.
Just found a magazine that permanently marks Diamond City on your map.
Whats the point in that?

I'm wondering this too

i assume its for people who go off a different path from the story that directs them there. sorta like skipping megaton and going straight into DC.
i love the little details in this game, like the supermutants having a boston accent
How do you assign people to work something in a settlement? Sturges keeps telling me too but I must have missed the tooltip.
Also if anyone has yet made a guide on building shit please direct me to it because I understand very little of how this works, how to make good things with it, and definitely do not understand electricity
this brotherhood power armor guy (not the companion) died while i was on a story mission
got a free set of BOS armor for one of my power suits

(Not sure if it's right, correct me if I'm wrong)
Anyway, reason I'm using 5 Strength is because my character is going to use chems to buff up when needed, the INT will help me make the Buffout, Psycho, and Jet I need. I'll need the Science and Armorer perks in order to become Tesla Trooper with my Power Armour.
This look good?
Has anyone found the enclave/x-01 power armor? I know its in an abandoned shack yet I have no clue exactly where that is
Yeah it was standing right next to the other power armors in the Dev test room.
So is this game an improvement from fallout 3 and fallout nv? I have no idea what reviews to trust because i keep hearing so many conflicting things
Depends on what you want. Combat is waaaaaay improved and actually works, there's way more weapon variety and customization. The dialogue system is maybe a little bit dumbed down but I haven't really felt much of a difference since I used to mainly just take the critical path through most dialogue before. Story seems weaker than NV but so far not as stupid as ridiculously linear as FO3.
