Also, here's an example. My textures refuse to stream properly
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/ZCwno2K.jpg[/img_thumb]
Nice sharp and crisp on the gun, but I moved about 50 feet so now I'm in an area that loaded LoD textures and refuses to apply the full res ones. It's fuckin' broke
With the crafting workbenches, if I put all my items needed for those materials in them with transfer will they still go towards crafting / building things no matter what bench if that makes sense?
also also also for any fans of undertale [sp]there is a very sassy assaultron in goodneighbor called KLEO and she is literally mettaton[/sp]
Can somebody please explain to me
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/cD3yKaE.jpg[/img_thumb]
What the fuck? Who's responsible for this. That's a RIFLE. Not a nuke launcher, not a gatlingun, not an 18th century CANNON. A RIFLE.
Maybe a model scaling problem (idk much about that stuff so I'm likely wrong).

each settlement has like, a combined "inventory" of lootcraft so yeah it doesn't matter which one you use, they all pull from the same inventory
yo, why is my character and his wife the whitest of middle class and our baby black...?
Also, this game is amazing, do not care for the story but everything else has exceeded expectation.
Survival difficulty is unforgiving. And fuck the sneaky [sp]Mirelurks that loudly jump out due to the 'Glowing Mushroom' trap by the river.[/sp]
she does that without the suit on
yeah, she recognizes you not wearing the vault suit but notices the pip-boy on your wrist and the "fish out of water" look is supposedly a dead giveaway.
(i'm making up for my ages of not being up to date with the thread by posting a shitton)
if you guys haven't already picked up the scrapper perk, you really should.
with the exception of super low tier weapons, pretty much every gun you scrap returns a screw. admittedly this is less useful for those who know where to get screws but i find that weapon mods tend to use screws and adhesive more than other materials so it's super fucking useful for me
also to clarify on my previous post, each settlement's inventory is individual to it, but any workstation pulls from it.
pc question, is there a way to slow down the rotation of shit when you go to rotate stuff in workshop mode? its a nightmare lining stuff up when you want to rotate it a tiny bit but it overshoots every time

Sadly it doesn't give adhesives

I would also like to know this. The default speed is ridiculous.
Holy shit, the classical radio in this game is such a refreshment from our classical radio station, which goes like this:
Cleveland Orchestra plays okayish, overplayed song.
Cleveland Orchestra plays okayish, overplayed song.
Cleveland Orchestra plays okayish, overplayed song.
Cleveland Orchestra plays okayish, overplayed song.
Give us money and maybe we'll listen to you. for a single song request, and maybe, just maybe, we'll listen to your critisism.
Cleveland Orchestra plays okayish, overplayed song.
Cleveland Orchestra plays okayish, overplayed song.

Seriously guys, just fucking ask Oberlin if you can borrow some recordings from them.
i haven't been playing with the radio on at all. i wanted to experience the complete atmosphere of fo4. i didn't get that "this is a bethbryo game" feeling until the very end of my 16 hour session yesterday (when i figured out how to get the console)
i might turn it on if i do an archer playthrough.
still need help so i can actually play my game plzzzz
guys, serious bugs are preventing me from progressing please help. I cannot this vault door. It won't open, I pressed the button, animation got cancelled, now button doesnt work. how can I bypass this with console commands? Also, I can no longer enter VATS, tried rebinding keys reloading saves and shit. helppp

this game really reminds me of borderlands in feel sometimes, dude
[editline]11th November 2015[/editline]
it's much more gamey than the other fallouts, imo
Yeah.
It's my favorite Fallout so far exactly because of that.
Though i can totally understand why some hardcore RPG fans are a bit upset about the game. Because let's be honest, Fallout 4 doesn't shine because of it's RPG elements or it's story (which is pretty damn bad).
But they really, really improved the overall gameplay and gunplay. And that's what i'm looking in my video games.
Dear god. I was doing a charisma/luck based build with some side points in intelligence while I max out all perks I want until I run out...well, I just arrived in South Boston.
South Boston is some intense shit. I've had a few hitches on the way, but nothing that actually winded me up. SB is like a nightmare.
yo, why is my character and his wife the whitest of middle class and our baby black...?
Shauns adopted.
I think I found an exploit? Someone confirm I haven't updated the game in hours.
If you happen to come across settlements that you can get into the creation/craft menu, but have hard to pick safes(sadly not floor ones) and containers around, you can scrap them and it'll shove all items into the creation bench. This also works for open containers still under ownership. Doing this wont count as stealing.

I'm becoming addicted, send help, I want to make one for each paint job.

You should put your non-active companions in those and leave them like that so they wouldn't just be sitting around not being used.
So how generally is the performance of the game?
I found a few guys who started shooting at me when I tried to come near their camp. They were called "Gunners" Are they a faction or something?
Man, the dog in this game bugs out alot or just looks plain weird
[t]http://i.imgur.com/4zq9tHC.jpg[/t]
yeah could you like not have noclip dog?
and then he tries running. before teleporting out

I was pretty surprised to discover that NPCs are aware of the in-game dates, here's what the Diamond City security says during Halloween

And this really bugs me because it's far from impossible to have both.
I think mods will be able to patch up everything keeping it from being a great RPG, but it would've been nice if Beth had tried to preserve the roleplaying element some more.
Also while the Legendary weapons are cool and all I wish there wasn't physically impossible ones like 10mm pistols with infinite bullets and cryo-rolling pins. How the hell does that work canonically?
edit: Also also I hope they make adding new animations less of a hacky mess that has to be implemented by modders later, or the lack of a pump shotgun is really gonna suck

Watching this without audio, I automatically read their lines in the voices of Skyrim's guards.
Disgruntled silly guards are a universal constant.
End of The World new Johnny Guitar???
I really wish we could have gear sets. If I'm in town talking to people, I'd like to switch to my "Charisma" set or something. Then when I leave go back to my battle attire. instead of having to re-equip every slot and go through what the 4th level of hell my inventory is.
Exact same problem. I built stairs to the roof and the AI was clever enough to see the new pathing and use them to get down. Doesn't really explain how they get up there though..

Also some helpful settlement tips in this video too if you are having trouble.
To anyone using a GTX 750 Ti/GTX 860M, hows the performance?
