To those still wondering about armor that's better than the vault suit, (super minor BoS spoiler. It's literally when you first run into them) [sp]I found a brotherhood suit thing on the corpse of one of the guys that you meet when meeting the brotherhood for the first time. He was on top of the wall they built, and also had a laser rifle on him. I dunno if it's upgradeable yet though[/sp]

I am confused how people are getting bad fps etc on higher specs too.
Running an 8GB R390x, 16GB here and ive yet to have any dips below 50fps. Even during the first Deathclaw fight.
APPARENTLY, AMD runs like shit, but I've not had any issues.

If you set the destination as the [sp]Prydwn[/sp] then ask the pilot to land after taking off it does shit like this.

I doubt it'll be patched. There are places where framerate dips considerably and that is just down to distant geometry (even stuff that you can't see) still being rendered at LOD0. Open the console and toggle wireframe (twf) then look toward where you're getting frame drops - you'll be able to see what I mean when compared with the areas that give you 60fps. The majority of the world isn't like this and has proper lodding but there are parts of Downtown areas that haven't seen as much love in terms of optimization. However because the target fps on consoles is 30, I doubt that the places we see on PC that make us dip below 60fps don't actually dip below 30 on consoles. So if we're being cynical I doubt it's going to get fixed

Theirs a quest and once its completed it becomes pretty strong
42 psychical and energy damage resistance and it gains a special property that reduces base damage from humans by 15 percent

You have to hit E to get to the next page. I found that out completely by accident when I hit the wrong key. It should really tell you at the bottom that you can do that. There were a few computers in the vault at the start that I must have missed a page or two of because of that
