Ah I see the BoS is testing the new experimental burrowing vertibird.
Upon disembarking it flew 200 metres into the air at lightning speed then disappeared. I would've recorded it but i hit F9 instead of F10 It also appears you can't jump out of the vertibirds like it said you could in the trailer, which is disappointing, but i can understand why they removed it. To those still wondering about armor that's better than the vault suit, (super minor BoS spoiler. It's literally when you first run into them) [sp]I found a brotherhood suit thing on the corpse of one of the guys that you meet when meeting the brotherhood for the first time. He was on top of the wall they built, and also had a laser rifle on him. I dunno if it's upgradeable yet though[/sp] [editline]11th November 2015[/editline]
Upon disembarking it flew 200 metres into the air at lightning speed then disappeared. Royal mail are so Fucking shit. Still not delivered today, they had it in Liverpool and didn't send it out for delivery yesterday. And now it's in Warrington by some mistake and has to be sent back here. Useless cunts
There's no cow tipping fuck this game i want a refund.
swan's [sp] pond and the state house time to go get the fat man[/sp]
holy fuck get a new processor
Holy fuck don't listen to this guy.
Is there a command to make an NPC exit power armor? I leave for one second during the mirelurk event and a Minuteman takes it for a joyride.
I have a GTX 970 and it ran great until I was in Downtown. In some areas I get like 20 to 30 FPS. I'm not sure what's causing it. I'm not suspecting the amount of detail as it happens in detailed and undetailed areas.
Same here, hoping it's quickly patched. Definitely comes from being unoptimized.
So I'm guessing that the Railroad and Brotherhood story arcs act like in Skyrim, where if I do several missions for one side I'll be locked out of the other?
I don't understand how PC hardware works after this game. People with higher specs - can barely run game. People with slightly lower specs - run game just fine. What is it dependent on? Can OS really make such big difference? Does one set of hardware work better with each other than other? Does 970 work better with 4690k than 980ti does or what?
Holy fuck don't listen to this guy.
Yeah no problem, I was confused for a second cause as far as I know it's just not worth it upgrading CPU as of now. I study Computer Sciences so yeah :v:
Damn this silver shroud outfit is sexy and pretty useful too

Running an 8GB R390x, 16GB here and ive yet to have any dips below 50fps. Even during the first Deathclaw fight. APPARENTLY, AMD runs like shit, but I've not had any issues.
Damn this silver shroud outfit is sexy and pretty useful too
Am I missing something? Just picked up it up and it's only 15 radiation, 15 lightning or whatever with 0 damage resistance.
How do you mount your power armor in a power armor maintenance rack thing?
Anyone know where any T-60 or X-01 power armor is? And how to advance the brotherhood quests?
holy fuck get a new processor
Holy fuck you're an idiot the i5 2500k is still on par with devils canyon i5's, look up your shit before you spout it. Also otto I'll send you my setup over steam, I'm running a similar rig to yours and I'm getting pretty much 60 solid unless you're standing at the top of the corvega factory and looking right into the cities (or where my massive fuck off fort is at sanc hills), then it drops to 45. It might help it might not.
I have discovered the cause of the burrowing vertibird glitch. If you set the destination as the [sp]Prydwn[/sp] then ask the pilot to land after taking off it does shit like this. [vid]https://my.mixtape.moe/yzavhd.webm[/vid] Jesus fucking christ
How do you mount your power armor in a power armor maintenance rack thing?
Exit your power armor while near the rack, press E to craft/work on it and boom
Same here, hoping it's quickly patched. Definitely comes from being unoptimized.
I doubt it'll be patched. There are places where framerate dips considerably and that is just down to distant geometry (even stuff that you can't see) still being rendered at LOD0. Open the console and toggle wireframe (twf) then look toward where you're getting frame drops - you'll be able to see what I mean when compared with the areas that give you 60fps. The majority of the world isn't like this and has proper lodding but there are parts of Downtown areas that haven't seen as much love in terms of optimization. However because the target fps on consoles is 30, I doubt that the places we see on PC that make us dip below 60fps don't actually dip below 30 on consoles. So if we're being cynical I doubt it's going to get fixed
Is there a way to scroll through more text when reading documents on the computer?I run into text once in a while that seems like it's been cut off, but there's no obvious option to scroll the text down.
Am I missing something? Just picked up it up and it's only 15 radiation, 15 lightning or whatever with 0 damage resistance.
Theirs a quest and once its completed it becomes pretty strong 42 psychical and energy damage resistance and it gains a special property that reduces base damage from humans by 15 percent

Mine just sorta stands there

I found that out completely by accident when I hit the wrong key. It should really tell you at the bottom that you can do that. There were a few computers in the vault at the start that I must have missed a page or two of because of that
Exit your power armor while near the rack, press E to craft/work on it and boom
I walked backwards into the rack and pressed E as soon as it allowed me to exit. Makes it LOOK like its hooked up, haha.
Theirs a quest and once its completed it becomes pretty strong 42 psychical and energy damage resistance and it gains a special property that reduces base damage from humans by 15 percent
could you give me a hint where the quest begins/is given? i picked it up last night and i want to travel with nick as a smooth operator
Am I missing something? Just picked up it up and it's only 15 radiation, 15 lightning or whatever with 0 damage resistance.
-snip- late
