Theirs a quest and once its completed it becomes pretty strong
42 psychical and energy damage resistance and it gains a special property that reduces base damage from humans by 15 percent
Eh it's still not too good for me so I sold it :v: 600 caps is good enough. It'd be good if it was like the jumpsuit, but if it replaces all of my armor I'm downgrading pretty hard
I want to play this game so bad but my PC is fucking broken aaaaa
And now Alchestbreach is posting a playthrough of it and I really want to watch that as well but I don't want to spoil anything for myself :hairpull:
could you give me a hint where the quest begins/is given? i picked it up last night and i want to travel with nick as a smooth operator
[sp] Head over to good neighbor and walk into the memory den. Check a back room on the right and talk to the ghoul sitting at a terminal[/sp]
I feel like I'm really underlevelled or something. I'm at level 11 and I'm at the fight with [sp]Kellog[/sp]. This is normal right?
Also the Institute Rifle you can pick up from the Synths at that part is really good. I normally never touch energy weapons in Fallout but I might have to make an exception.
Anyone know where any T-60 or X-01 power armor is?

How do you mount your power armor in a power armor maintenance rack thing?
Walk into it, turn away from it and hold E, it should automatically center itself in it.
I didn't even realise you could move the models in the loading screen with WASD
Is there a way to save the (early diamond city spoilers) [sp]dude aiming a pistol at his brother?[/sp]
I edited the ini to skip the bethesda intro, but now it will occasionally show the Agility SPECIAL video in its place?
I didn't even realise you could move the models in the loading screen with WASD
Wait till you press V in the loading screen.
I edited the ini to skip the bethesda intro, but now it will occasionally show the Agility SPECIAL video in its place?
The special videos randomly play in place of the bethesda intro
Here's a weird question: Are there any [sp]female Mr. Handys besides Supervisor White and Curie? There was a loading screen saying that female Mr. Handys are called Miss Nannys and I figured that would mean there'd be more of them than just those two.[/sp]
Who I can sell junk like pre-war money or gold watches to? I get my charisma up to 8 with gear, but anyone I try to sell that stuff to would only give me a fraction of what the cost displayed in the pip-boy is.
if you use 'coc qasmoke' in console it teleports you to a room full of boxes that contains every single item in the game.
useful for finding item id's.
You can open the console and type help "Name" 0 and it'll give you the ID. It works for NPCs, items, locations, etc.

better prices come from the perk.
For some reason I picked up a distress signal that homes in on the Red Rocket station near Sanctuary, but I couldn't find anything there, do you think it could be bugged?
Is there a command to make an NPC exit power armor? I leave for one second during the mirelurk event and a Minuteman takes it for a joyride.
Never ever leave Fusion Cores in power armor.
I don't think Bethesda fully tested the vertibirds, I swear I've seen too many crash into a forest and blow everything up.
I got raided by a Legendary Super Mutant, as well as his buddies.

Not letting that happen again.
I don't understand how PC hardware works after this game.
People with higher specs - can barely run game.
People with slightly lower specs - run game just fine.
What is it dependent on? Can OS really make such big difference?
Does one set of hardware work better with each other than other?
Does 970 work better with 4690k than 980ti does or what?
Well, I have i7 4790k, GTX 960 (OC) Win7 and this game runs butter smooth. Setting Godrays to low, Distant Object to medium and updating latest drivers did the trick.
Found this.

Some of these Legendary Weapons are odd.
I'm sure someone's already mentioned this, but my walk speed keeps changing with my FPS :v: As soon as I walk into a building it's like I'm the Flash all of a sudden.

You can do the same in Skyrim.

a bolt-action rifle with 'unlimited ammo capacity'.
wut
Don't know why everyone is freaking about fusion cores. I have about 16 hours play time and I've completed the main quest. I have about 30 cores and I can use power armour and a Gatling laser without much worry. I find selling all the surplus ammo I find gives me plenty of caps too buy them from traders. The nuclear power INT 9 perk helps too if your want to stay in power armour.
That said, I'm totally addicted to the power armour and I am planning to collect them all. 1 full set of T45 and 2 sets of T60 so far. T51 next!
So is it just impossible to save [sp]Kent Conelly? As soon as dialogue with Sinjin ends, he just kills him so fast that I can barely get a shot off, even with vats and his speech checks seem like they need ridiculously high requirements.[/sp]
I'm curious what's the best way to build a fence around any base/settlement, the junk fences leave gaps which are really annoyin and normal walls don't work around red rocket as there's a few hills

I found a laser musket aptly named "Junkies Laser Musket" that buffs damage when I'm addicted to chems and stacks with more addictions.
Also a "two shot laser pistol" that has a legendary perk to fire a third extra shot in the burst. That thing is pretty powerful

Only 4 hours in here (not much time to play sadly), but how do you guys find power armor? I found my first set during that one main mission, but is there specific locations for them?

They seem to spawn in some certain areas. I found a t-51b armor set and actually found out everytime you load into the area (I died like 3 times) different parts of the armor would be on the suit that was there. Sometimes it didn't have the head. Sometimes only the shoulders. I got lucky on one load and got the chest and the head and one arm. I've also seen one or two power armor suit held in the back of raider bases usually with the leader character sitting around their power armor. I know I was one in a cage on some train tracks near the beginning of the game
I could try and take a pic of where I found the t-51b parts if I can remember it
Also if anyone wants, I can take a pic of the location of the (weapon spoiler) [sp]syringer rifle if anyone wants. I'm not sure if it's the only place you can find it though[/sp]

I found a piece of leg armour that slows down time when you drop below 20% health.
I just really with more of the full body armours took components.
Oh well, something to look forward to when mods come out.
