What's your spec?
Intel (quad)Core i5-3570k 3.4ghz
16 gigs of RAM
ASUS HD7790 Series
Guessing I might need to upgrade my Graphics Card up to a 2 gb worth of video memory since my card is only a 1 gb. Re validating to see if that does something out of sheer luck.
Also, I have to be honest. I did cheat a little. Last night at like 2:30 AM I used tgm for a bit because I wanted to finish out a quest I was doing but I was so tired I could barely keep my head up and eyes open. Doing that with a four charge laser musket is frightening.

I just put these glasses on and got a new hair style?
So is there any reason why setting ipresetinterval to 0 and capping the frame rate to 60 wouldn't work? Honestly, I know how screwy Skyrim got with doing this but since I used swords it didn't affect me too much by leaving it on 1. The input delay from vsync in FO4 though literally prevents me from hitting anything unless I strictly use VATS, and even then my guy sucks. It is making the game from being awesome to play to being irritating that I can't shoot anything and I die easier.
This game has the ugliest Anti Aliasing i've ever used, any way i can force a better one externally?
I just bought an SSD because my main drive died, should I put Fallout 4 on it, or would it just be a waste of space on that drive?

I play with it off to get above 30 frames near Trinity Tower.

It uses TAA, but you can disable that and use the settings in the Nvidia Control Panel (MSAA), or you could go with ReShade FX custom SMAA or FXAA
Fallout 4's new lighting system and upgraded engine mean a move away from MSAA hardware anti-aliasing options. In their place we find "TAA", a post-process temporal anti-aliasing technique that functions similarly to our own TXAA, in that it tackles shimmering on anti-aliased edges whilst also reducing general aliasing. To demonstrate, here are 3 video clips (right click, Save As...) showing Fallout 4 with anti-aliasing disabled, with standard post-process FXAA anti-aliasing enabled, and with TAA enabled.
I think it looks outstanding!

What SSD and motherboard do you have, and how much space left after the OS?
Oh wow one of the Security Guards at Diamond City commented on the fact that it is October 31st in my game right now
Remember how I complained about 16 fusion cores?
Well yeah... I take it back..

I love that food is so much more useful now compared to 3 and NV. They now heal a good amount of health instead of 1hp/15 seconds. Good thing food is more common then stimpacks. Which I can never seem to own more then 5 of.
I fins the game a bit difficult to use with the old key board. I'm tempted to use a controller.
What do you guys usually use?
I fucking love that when you face a tough enemy and chemdump to get out of a pickle you get that slowmo and everything and you shout it's fucking awesome.
Can anyone help me? Every time I change the pip-boy color/game difficulty it just resets back to green color and normal whenever I quit the game.

I tried using the ReShade injector but it just keeps crashing on Apply, trying to LumaSharpen the TAA
So am I getting it right that once you pick up a magazine and get its boost, you can just sell it or throw it away?

One of your .ini files like Fallout4.ini might be read only?

I had no problem using SweetFX and ReShade. Although I had to disable SMAA and FXAA because I actually like the games TAA setting.
I used this one: https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/4648/
Do you have to find special armor for dogmeat, or can he use pieces from regular armor?
One of your .ini files like Fallout4.ini might be read only?
Can't be, I checked already.
Friend at school un-boxed his pip boy and god damn I thought I did not want one any more but now I REALLY WANT ONE. Like the plastic is not even that shiny.
Honestly the pictures don't do it justice it looks much better in person.
How do you remove weapon mods? I want to remove the reflex sight from a pipe pistol i found but I see now way to do it at a workbench or from my inventory
This radio DJ is amazing, he reminds me of Morty but with a deeper voice.
Is anyone else having horrible performance issues using AMD GPUs?
How do you remove weapon mods? I want to remove the reflex sight from a pipe pistol i found but I see now way to do it at a workbench or from my inventory
Take it to a Weapon Workbench and you have the option to remove them there. It will put the mod in your inventory.
Why on earth can i not getting into VATS? i'm pressing the button like a maniac all the time it doesnt work, it really doesnt work o_O
Wait, is there a difference between modifying weapons at workbenches and actual mods?
