It's based on level what you get. How do I know? I tested that exact box. I forced it unlocked around level 5/6 when exploring the area. Gave me a pipe revolver rifle or something like that. Reloaded my quicksave and left it alone. Now that I actually have master lock pick, I should go back for it and a couple other safes I left behind.

If you can get her reference ID, you can type "player.moveto *refID*" into the console and it'll teleport you to her. I don't know what her ID is though.

I love how spoiling the ending has pretty much become a fucking meme at this point
for whatever reason, right before the game crashes and closes itself, i'm unable to sprint at all.
so whenever you can't sprint even though you have ap, quicksave and prepare for a crash.
Is there a way to build a campfire in your base? I can't find it in any of the sections.

I don't know about anyone else, but I wouldn't mind Fallout 5 (or Obsidian's spin-off, whatever comes first) being a little bit less colorfull than Fallout 4. I really like that the game isn't just brown, grey and puke green, but there are quite a few locations where Bethesda has gone overboard with the bright colors.

Although one of the cooking stations has a sort of a campfire in it, but not separate campfire to be placed.

My worst fucking nightmare about this game has happened, download progress is 0%. I tried to make it see that it has the files but like fallout 4 has fucking these BA2 files for all it's shit and it says it's 25 gigs. I copied what was in my downloads folder to common but it didn't fucking do anything.
I want to salvage this. CAN I salvage this? If I can't, WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF STEAM THEN? WHAT IS IT'S PURPOSE IF IT CAN'T DO IT'S PRIMARY FUNCTION? 60kb/s was the fastest the download has gone for me since FRIDAY WHEN YOU COULD PRELOAD THE GAME.

Something I'd like to see is a companion mod for [sp] your Husband/Wife. My thinking is that it involve finding a skilled medic who can come back to the vault to save his life, or like having medical stuff in Sanctuary. After that, he can accompany you, and even use some of the lines recorded for his character like with him tqking damage, using drugs, exploring the environment.[/sp]

the spoilers i got sent were not the things that happened.

I don't even use drugs much if at all, Codsworth doesn't like it.
I fixed myself a Psychojet, then my character let out the most intimidating scream I've heard (like a Thu'um on meth), followed by an immediate "Codsworth didn't like that." :v:
sneaking around some, dogmeat decides to run into a room where i hear raiders talking
there's shooting, yelling, dogmeat is barking and i hear him chomping away, this continues for ~8 seconds then dogmeat comes running out, gets blasted by a raider with a shotgun who follows him out, raider had no idea i was there, i blast him with my own shotgun then the room dogmeat ran out from explodes, smoke pouring out the door
i go inside and there's just a torso of a raider sitting infront of the door, his parts scattered around the room

Can you not visit a local internet cafe / friend's house and ask if you can put the game files on a USB memory stick or something? At the rate your internet is downloading the game, you'll be waiting for at least a week.
Question about power armour: can I fast travel whilst wearing it, and if I can fast travel, does the fusion core get depleted from fast travelling? Only reason I don't actively use my power armour is due to the fact that I know by the time I walk to where I wanna go, it'll be nearly depleted.
They seriously need to add a charging station structure to be able to recharge fusion cores. Or at least put a location in the game that has a nuclear reactor that can charge them, but is surrounded by tough to beat enemies?

Dogmeat is shit. Every time I get into battles, he runs off and disappears and I can't see him, but all I can hear is dog yelping and gunfire. When I eventually find him, he's half-dead and whimpering for help. Til now I've been giving him stimpacks, but I think I may either just leave him at Sanctuary or outright kill him.
He's a piece of shit companion. Just makes my life more difficult tbh
is there anything i can wear under these combat armor pieces? they provide double the protection of my one piece cage armor, but i look like a total whore

decided to accept that Curie was gone, at least until someone finds her reference ID, so I went back to get dogmeat on my team. I'm pretty sure I sent him off to the Sanctuary, but I can't find him either. where the hell did he go? I really wish there was a way to locate your available companions, how am I supposed to find them if I forget where I sent them?
So what's everyone's favorite settlement spot? I don't wanna use sanctuary.

Speaking of Dogmeat, I've misplaced him.. I did have him at Sanctuary, but haven't seen him in a while. even tried to search around sanctuary but nope, not even at red rocket.
I don't have dog as my follower, but I kinda wanna see him around the Sanctuary.
Edit, I'm beginning to suspect that the dog functions better when dismissed at Red Rocket, seeing as its the original home of it. And at Sanctuary it can bug and go missing, maybe, who knows it's Bethesda.
Wait, what issues are people having with the game that would warrant a negative review? The only big issue I've stumbled on so far is glitchy terminals
