Does anyone else just FUCKING LOVE the pip boy app?
Is the pipboy edition CD key the same as a regular copy? Thinking of buying a copy off gmg and selling my pipboy edition key when it finally gets here. Or maybe work out a deal to give some guy my key when it gets here if they buy me a cd key. my game gets here friday

Now make it for the wii u bethesda thanks.
Isn't it ironic that the best second-screen gaming experience I've had so far isn't even on the second-screen gaming console?
but parts of the engine DO change
look at the animation and lighting differences between the last two fallouts and last two tes
Asking Bethesda to fix their engine is like asking for your ass to stop shitting
it's not going to happen
I was hoping that they'd improve it more now that they don't need to worry about architecture differences between the consoles, but i guess they just didn't even look at the engine criticisms before OR they just can't fix it because they aren't skilled enough.
Maybe they should hire outside technical support, like they did with the gameplay in FO4.

we never said that parts didn't, it's just there have been lasting bugs between the engines with AI and physics that beth hasn't addressed.
what. My merge!
welp fuck me, whatever you do, do not do the confidence man quest. Ever since the barfight part, me, bull and some other dude unlocked immortality and can never die. as soon as you run out of health you get back up brand new, and if you try to beat the quest, bull and his friend wont die so you cant win.
10/10 game breaking bug.
You can send a settler from one base to any other. I used this to get Hangman Alley a farm and a supply line pretty early so I can build a city there.
How do you do that?

Yeah, it's improving, but comparing it to other modern modifications to engines they're only ahead of the norm (and lagging behind in almost all others) in one aspect and those are the lag-inducing godrays.
And even that has been done before (just as poorly mind you, it's a hard thing to optimize)
Anyone else find enough fusion cores to pretty much keep roaming in power armor forever? I've been in it for like the last 7 hours and still have 15 more to go.
I can't react fast enough to use the pipboy app to use healing items, so I just stopped using it after an hour. And the local map doesn't even work.
My shameless sense of self promotion demands I post that I made a mod for the fonts in the UI.
Download it now, and maybe it can pass "Fallout 3-esque Reshade" in downloads!
oh wow SO CRISP SO CLEAN

ubisoft seemed to have no problem with them in ac4

shit. Are you playing on the PC? If you are, you can set them unessential and that should let you kill them.

the "setessential" commands should still be the same from FO3 and Skyrim.

And they're not exactly known for making/using good engines at all
I feel like the only person who thinks the engine actually feels a lot nicer now. It's still clearly Gamebryo in disguise but it just feels less clunky overall.

unity was a mess-up, yeah, but they learned from it.
and all the other games in the series have great pc ports, dunno what you mean.
Ubisoft's god rays were screen space though, this is voxel ("real" godrays) and that demands a lot cause it means you need to have X Y and Z coordinates that check of there's light passing through them whenever lighting changes. Screen space is just a bloom effect based on light source location and hindrances (meaning you can't see the rays if you don't look at the source of light)
i found a fusion core in a dumpster in boston so make sure to check every trash can you can

great deal

I mean that the engines themselves aren't anything to write home about, other than the way it innovated in animation tweening but that was nearly a decade ago now
Something something never changes.

I don't like how the UI doesn't show weight and value for clutter lying around anymore.

it'd just be really helpful since I only got 85 dollars for the next 2 weeks
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
If you find a gun with a night vision, maybe particularly a .50 cal night vision sniper off a raider from the quarry, DO NOT USE IT.
The green nightvision overlay sticks to your screen and never goes away, reloading doesnt even cure it. It feels like Im playing Fallout 3.
Any idea on how to fix it with the console?
HOLY SHIT I think I just saw [sp]a UFO crash. I'm on my way to investigate it.[/sp]

Tried restarting the game? Sounds like a RAM flushing issue
