Those goddamn supermutants won't hurt my little Dogmeat again  [img_thumb]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/396676045193367380/2B50DAC7F1058B6923ACC0E015B14411B175CEB2/[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/396676045193367503/A15FC7C563F17B5EA373308F0C2A8D6BA11F804E/[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/396676045193367598/32B23728CFC37ADFA1EFC6999DE2DF544ED7919F/[/img_thumb]
Which outfits can I give to Dogmeat for him to wear?
Which outfits can I give to Dogmeat for him to wear?
Bandannas, Goggles, Dog Armor Maybe more but that's all I know
I wonder if Bethesda will be doing a "bethesda game jam" this time as well, just like they did with skyrim 4 years ago Would be pretty cool to see what they would be able to come up (and have them only impliment 25% of the things there) :v:
Can you get companions to wear specific armor?
Can you get companions to wear specific armor?
Yeah just give and press the equip button (T on PC) Same with settlers
Yeah just give and press the equip button (T on PC) Same with settlers
Oh geez I'm blind.
But one thing bothers me. I haven't seen a single NV reference but too many FO3 reference.
There's a reference to the NCR in a note about the Mysterious Stranger, but that's all I found so far.
There's a reference to the NCR in a note about the Mysterious Stranger, but that's all I found so far.
The NCR aren't NV exclusive. I heard someone mention The Divide though, but they could be talking about some other Divide
There's a reference to the NCR in a note about the Mysterious Stranger, but that's all I found so far.
Keep playing the main quest, small references to the west coast here and there in the different arcs
(Minor location spoiler?)[sp] I ran into these gunner guys by a hospital and they started shooting me after hesitating for a bit, are they supposed to be anything special or are they just fancy raiders ?[/sp]
the point I want to make, is that does the newer version of the creation engine feel like fo3's gamebryo?
After the initial shock of not-shit animations and gunplay has worn off, yes. It feels like an upgraded skyrim. Not quite as minute an upgrade between the CoDs of course - which might as well be running on the original quake engine - but it still definitely feels like bethryo in a lot of ways.
Two questions: 1. If I mod a pistol to become a rifle, am I now taking advantage of the damage bonuses of the Rifleman perk and not the Gunslinger perk? Need clarification on this. 2. If anyone is using the V.A.T.S Awareness perk (PER 3, I think), what does the water droplet symbol stand for in the damage resistances that show up for each enemy? I know the shield is bullet damage resistance, the lightning bolt is energy weapon resistance, the nuclear sign is radiation weapon resistance, but what the heck is the water droplet? Is it ice-related? Like Cryolator type weapons?
(not my video)
Same thing happened to me in the robot dump with [sp] the prototype sentrybot[/sp] I beat it to death and then I went to get items but all I got was a quickload...
Bandannas, Goggles, Dog Armor Maybe more but that's all I know
There's also chain
I ran around with my powersuit for hours yesterday. I had like 20 power cores and when I quit I had 16. It's so fun to play melee with power armor, especally with a legendary power sledge.
There's also chain
A regular looking collar too.
And a double-collar with spikes
(Minor location spoiler?)[sp] I ran into these gunner guys by a hospital and they started shooting me after hesitating for a bit, are they supposed to be anything special or are they just fancy raiders ?[/sp]
they're just another hostile faction just like raiders.

People aren't mad because the game is bad, but because the game has so much missed potential. I can't wait till the first few patches and a decent PC UI. Just imagine all the customization content in a couple of months, until then I feel like playing this game in is just spoiling it.

Has anyone found any weapons with the special "explosive" mod? I found an explosive 10mm pistol and it's amazing. I don't even have to aim! :v:
Am I the only one that spent the first 15 perk points on SPECIAL?
So the new dialogue system is pretty shit and I miss a lot of vital info because you can't go back and ask questions if you accidentally choose the option to advance the conversation. The UI as a whole is beyond awful and somehow succeeds at being more backwards than Skyrim. Some menus need you to press tab to exit, which is also your pip-boy button. Some menus need you to press escape to exit, but it is also pause. Grenade and melee are the same key. The controls for the settlement management are a fucking disaster. It all feels like a bad console port, which is strange considering Bethesda's most dedicated fans tend to be PC gamers. However, the writing is surprisingly not ass this time. It still isn't great, but it is leagues above Skyrim as far as memorable characters are concerned, and still better than Fallout 3 even. This is the first fallout game where I bothered to have companions (besides 1 and 2) because I actually like having them around and seeing what they have to say about the locations we visit or the people we meet. Plus, the combat AI is so much better that they don't get decimated in combat from running straight at the enemy.
Best song
Am I the only one that spent the first 15 perk points on SPECIAL?
You have to be. There's no way anyone else would do that you very special man
I haven't seen it mentioned much but the new radiation system is pretty neat, enemies like the Glowing One are actually a serious threat now and it adds an interesting new layer to combat.
Am I the only one that spent the first 15 perk points on SPECIAL?
Wait, you could spend them on anything else? I thought you had to spend it all on your SPECIALs.
1. Yes 2. Where's this pipe lever-action, not seen a single one in 20hrs of gameplay
