iron sighted sniper rifle is a mans gun
Use a weapon bench in a settlement to mod guns.
Yeah thanks i figured that much, but I'm not sure what to do once in the menu.
Yeah thanks i figured that much, but I'm not sure what to do once in the menu.
Click on the gun you want to mod, click on the mod slot, then click on the mod you want to install?
So my int is 6 but I have yet to unlock the science perk 1. Am I missing something?
@E = MC Hammer, top of this page. It's extremely easy to know who you're talking about even without having gotten anywhere near the end of the game just by context.
So my int is 6 but I have yet to unlock the science perk 1. Am I missing something?
Did you put a skill point into Science?
The minutemen are cool but damn they're fucking showering me in stuff to do. They're basically a beginner's guide to the commonwealth since they introduce the player to a bunch of features but they consume most of my time and often send me in areas that are far above my level. [sp]The mirelurk queen absolutely decimated me and I had to use TGM to get out of this because I was dealing virtually no damage to her.[/sp]
The [sp]mirelurk queen[/sp] is fucking retarded and is the epitome of a bullet sponge. Level 24, 500 rounds of .45 out of an SMG that does bonus damage against it (Plus 40% extra damage due to commando perk), not even a quarter of its health - and yet, it one-shots me in power armour. The only reliable way to take it on is boring peek-shootmissile-hide tactics from outside the castle walls, which is borderline exploitation because it won't climb walls it easily could Also whose fucking idea was it to not be able to disassemble weapons. Like really. You can scrap them sure but if I've picked up an assault rifle with a single modded component, and I want to add that component to the one I am already using, why do i have to go to the trouble of crafting the basic fucking version of that component just to be able to swap it over. Ditto with being unable to transfer certain components from a given weapon type to a different weapon type it'd be compatible with eg any sight, bayonets
So my int is 6 but I have yet to unlock the science perk 1. Am I missing something?
upon levelling up you need to level up the science perk lol
I love this game, but the lack of clothing kind of disappoints me, hopefully this'll be fixed in the expansion packs (well I hope they'll be expansion packs.)
I think one of my favorite new mechanics in this game is being able to break out of dialogue and attack. Cutting [sp]Kellogg[/sp] off with a burst of lasers to the face mid-conversation felt badass.
I'm so damn used to being in my power armor I forgot what my character looked like. I think I put on too much makeup. [t]http://i.imgur.com/DvBO7kL.jpg[/t]

[t]http://i.imgur.com/DvBO7kL.jpg[/t]
Look like a friggin' porcelain doll. Now I remember all those people bitching about the graphics mods that made people pretty in FO3 and NV. :v:
i just put 11 mines [sp]where it came up from the water[/sp], took away a huge part of its health
Here's the thing - being forced to use foreknowledge gained from dying repeatedly in an artificially difficult scenario to beat it is fucking terrible gameplay design
Next time I level i'll look for the science perk but I never saw it... Edit: Ok I see it. I am dumb.
Raiders drop it and it's often found in it's sniper rifle form in chests and stuff
Oh you're talking about the bolt action
Here's the thing - being forced to use foreknowledge gained from dying repeatedly in an artificially difficult scenario to beat it is fucking terrible gameplay design
i didn't. it was explained that [sp] a huge monster came up from the sea, that was what i was expecting since it was not in the courtyard[/sp]
[t]http://i.imgur.com/1Zl5tCI.jpg[/t] curt cobain alive in boston [t]http://i.imgur.com/bhghxDR.jpg[/t] trippy grandma is stuck on the roof again
i didn't. it was explained that [sp] a huge monster came up from the sea, that was what i was expecting since it was not in the courtyard[/sp]
You're the exception rather than the rule then. Some poor bastards had supposedly died over 40 times to it
playing on survivalist or normal?
Ninja + Sandman is crazy OP if you sneak. Only got tier 1 of Ninja and I deal 4x damage with my silenced pistol. That's 43x3.8 damage, which is 163, and this pistol uses 8 AP per VATS shot so I can shoot around 16 times in VATS before I'm out of AP, so its just ridiculous. [editline]12th November 2015[/editline] My sniper rifle is even worse, 99x3.8 is 372, and that's A LOT with 25% armor penetration

Fighting people with fists is fun, can almost take anything out with some PsychoBuff, can't wait to get the Power Fist, though for those wanting to do a fist build, try to avoid Power Attacks on lone guys, you'll get locked into an animation to then be shot with a missile launcher (this happened to me in the same section every time.) Also, anyone know where I can get some Raider PA? I've got the chest, left leg and head from the guy at the boat near the bridge that's in the city.
If you are annoyed by the settlement size limit check out this mod. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/132/? It just freezes the value in cheat engine so you can build as much as you want,I have yet to run into any problems using it and still get decent fps with my overly large settlements.
Still can't find any fix for the stream stuttering. Also you can find some weird shit from legendary enemies. I found a pool cue that deals radiation damage.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/xX7noVv.jpg[/t] Raiders have feelings too.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/bhghxDR.jpg[/t] trippy grandma is stuck on the roof again
My game bugged so I can't build that grandma her chair and she keeps bitching at me over it, that is, when she's not on the roof like in your game. Also, after playing for about 3 days straight I feel content to say.. this game DOES just work. It's awesome. Edit Except for that one time I confused holding alt for V to build stuff in one of my settlements and because of that dropping a mine in a bed with a kid that woke up and triggered it which killed me.
