oh my god, I finally discovered how to find my companions reference ID! I'm reunited with Curie! fopr anyone else having trouble finding their companions, the easiest way is to use the console as there's no way to actually track them.

save your game, load an old save where you have your desired companion, get their ID, write it down, and teleport them to you in the current save!

as ZestyLemons said, he's usually at the house near the bridge. But, there's also another dog house in the back of another yard if you delete the house by the bridge. I just moved all the doghouses around my house instead of scrapping them.

According to my loading screens there's a deathclaw gauntlet (that looks fucking awesome) but I have no idea how to make it or what you'd mod to create them. Shishkabab is in the game too, apparently.

Just finished the game, Brotherhood of Steel(aka SPESSH MAARINEEES).

I got it working.
I also ran into ghouls for the first time the other day at a train station, it was fucking terrifying. It went from one ghoul out of nowhere to a horde of ~10 immediately following. It was some 28 Days Later ass shit.
(The new ghouls scare me)

you can get the deathclaw gauntlet by [sp]going northeast to salem and doing the museum of witchcraft quest. it'll eventually lead you back to a nest where the gauntlet is at.[/sp]
shishkebab is from [sp] the "out of the fire" quest at finch farms.[/sp]
Finished the main story after 28 hours put into it. I have mixed feelings about the game. All in all it was good fun and ive got plenty more to do. But really I have some gripes.

The helmet can be gotten as early as level 18
[sp]In the BoS armory, can be stolen easily but you need Master Lockpick[/sp]
For the people who finshed the game, do you get to continue afterwards or did they do the whole reload till the DLC is out path.

I think I'm gonna do BoS next actually, since I plan on doing a power armor melee build character
Currently at 15 hours of game time. Haven't been to Diamond City yet.
I'm at 10 hours and every time I try to make my way to diamond city I get side tracked. :v:

it's called the deliverer and you get it [sp]by finishing the first quest the roadline gives you that has you meeting with deacon at a highway[/sp]
i think i hit like 26 hours yesterday and i'm still nowhere near close to finishing the MQ
too many side quests, not enough time
i spend more time exploring and looting
