I actually really like Cait but that's because I'm kind of a thieving dick and I like Irish accents(even though I don't understand how she has one).
That's a point, why are there so many foreign people in this game? Why do they all have thick accents over 200 years after the war?
Yo for those on good rigs who got auto-set to High/Very High/Ultra or whatever, turn TAA the fuck off.
That butches my dense-city framerate. I can hold above 30-60 in the city now. Before, it was chugging around 15-25.
Will try this when I get home, went from constant 60 fps down to the 30s and 40s when I reached Diamond city.
Was making my way towards some quest.
Found Starlight Drive In on my way.
Just spent 40 minutes building a house full of shit in Starlight and moving people there.
Now to do the quest.
Maybe.
I have a bug. Got the miscellaneous quest "Report to Paladin Danse" after completing a few BOS quests, but he just says his generic lines and won't start a conversation.
I've played for 20 hours now and feel that a lot of the quests are very samey. is it just me? I've barely touched the main storyline, I'm at the fourth main quest, other than that I've only done side quests and faction quests. these faction quests becomes rather boring in my opinion, it's just secure this location, put this thing here and there, fortify this settlement, and so on.
so I need more confirmations on the PC version. I have 3 people who tested it and it happened for them as well.
open up your task manager and keep an eye on it as you trigger a load. so far, the 4 of us noticed that the load times are arbitrarily increased as there is a sizeable chunk near the end of a load where the game is not actually loading up simply because it's already done loading.
I feel like this is either Bethesda's attempt at making the pc version more in line with the console versions, or their attempt at deliberately releasing a buggy product just so they can patch it out later to get goodwill.
What? There is any number of technical reasons for that, not whatever nonsense you said.
I can get SLi working with AFR2 but i get an intermittent freeze where the fps just dips skips every 2-3 seconds.
Hope for a driver with an SLi profile soon as some of the fps drops are nuts on a 980
So [sp]I randomly bumped into some Mercenary while doing the quest to see what a settlement needed, the one that takes you to some nearby plane I accidentally shot one of the mercs and ended up having to kill the chick.[/sp]
Yeah you can find him in Goodneighbor. I won't tell you how he's still alive but you can take a pretty good guess
Where abouts? I've been looking all over!
There we go.
Found out how to cancel supply lines.
You have to wait for a provisioner to enter one of your settlements with his brahmin then you can reassign him.
7 hours here and i haven't progressed part the first power armor :v:
i dropped skyrim at 80 hours after not even getting the second part of fusrodah
Too bad they don't have the right hair, but close enough.
Guess who?

Hint: Add a pair of thin rimmed glasses.
I don't understand what it is about this game that makes it only run some of the time. Is it just that poorly coded? Is it something with my specs? I wouldn't think so because when it decides to run it runs perfectly fine. It's just getting into the fucking game itself that keeps giving me problems. Every time I turn off my computer or it goes into hibernation/sleep mode it does it again.
.50 ammo. What gun(s) use(s) it?
.50 ammo. What gun(s) use(s) it?
10mm pistol clearly.
why does every single ghoul i kill have some kind of pool ball on them
was it just the hip thing before the bombs fell to stick them up your ass or something like jesus christ all i find are pool balls on their bodies.
That's a point, why are there so many foreign people in this game? Why do they all have thick accents over 200 years after the war?
To be fair, in real life every settlement would have a different accent with many different vocabulary additions, and the Vaults probably wouldn't even speak recognisable English any more. Being a totally isolated community can cause very rapid language change. In any case, the Sole Survivor would probably struggle to understand at least some of the accents around the Commonwealth.
Best companion without a doubt
[sp]Strong[/sp]
Oh you mean the guys that refuses to melee enemies?
Thanks Bethesda, I always wanted to see LODs up close.
[t]http://puu.sh/liOGh/194a7f7af5.jpg[/t]
so the game was running fantastic yesterday but now can't play 2mins without crashes, sick
I hope they release a mod that can let me pivot and noclip walls/buildings in my settlement together. Got gaps around my fences which look bad.
idk if this helps but i read this somewhere:
Building a 90-degree wall (i.e., a corner) can be surprisingly difficult, as walls will autosnap together into a straight line. In order to avoid this, attach a ceiling to the first wall piece where you want the corner to be, then build the perpendicular wall off the ceiling.
EDIT:
Also I don't know if you know this yet but if you hold shift you can use WASD keys to navigate workshop menu (instead of arrow keys)
OMG THANK YOU! I can't stand when everything uses WASD, but they have controls with the stupid arrow keys across the entire damned keyboard. >.<
My arm is crippled and I don't know how to fix it. There was a pop up telling me to use a stimpak, but I can't find a way to use stimpaks on individual limbs and just using it regularly does nothing. Anyone know how it works?
[sp]So I found a Chinese nuclear submarine in the water near the General Atomics Factory and the Chinese captain is a ghoul and is alive, incredible[/sp]

If you use a stimpak it should heal all limbs. Otherwise, visit a doctor. Or a bed.

iirc it heals quickly over time but a stimpack reduces that time further- kinda like companions

Or put floors....walls attach to floors too. I find it more easy than using ceilings

Equip him with a fully upgraded board and remember to equip it, then he'll one shot most of them while being really tanky
