Junk is automatically scrapped when you craft something, it would be unbalanced if you could scrap stuff whilst exploring.
Go to any workbench in your settlement(s), hit R then hit T and all your junk goes in there to be used for crafting/workshop building. I also manually put in stuff like those glowing mushrooms and brain fungus to be used in the chem/cooking stations.
Also if you set up a supply route between settlements your workshop inventory is instantly linked. You won't be able to see all of the junk inside the transfer menu of your new settlement but it is still there to be used.
I only now realised that weapon modding system is more-or-less the same as PAYDAY 2's one.
The lift is the loading screen, it's a separate room most of the time and you just stay there until it's done loading
Which means that if the infinite loading screen bug returns, you can get a free trip to Elevator Hell :v:

except that its kinda boring for most guns.
Jesus fuck, I had a suicide super mutant run at me with a mini nuke.
Thank fuck I worked out what was going down in the nick of time
Lucky you, my first encounter with supermutants ended with my character's mangled and broken corpse flying a couple of miles away from where the "fight" took place. After that I decided not to touch muties until I get more damaging weapons.
It really feels like, despite being a core feature, that base customization is like half done.
Which means that if the infinite loading screen bug returns, you can get a free trip to Elevator Hell :v:
I've encountered the infinite loading screen bug several times, but never in an elevator.
If that happens Fallout 4 will be officially the scariest game of 2015
Anyone know how to get rid of fucking Molerat disease? I've had it as an effect forever now and I have no idea how to get rid of it.
I was disappointed by the lack of options for building structures and then I found out there are books to discover for more high tech parts. Could someone link all the locations for them?
Anyone know how to get rid of fucking Molerat disease? I've had it as an effect forever now and I have no idea how to get rid of it.
There are diseases?
There are diseases?
Go to Stats, its under effects. Press Q I think
Can't you cure it via a doctor?
Probably a question I could answer myself by playing more, but I'm just being sure I haven't hit a bug. Minor BOS spoilers I suppose: [sp]I've done the quest to find the missing patrol, and now I get nothing but generic dialogue from the Paladin. The other two will give me quests, but it's just the "go hear and get a thing" quests that seem to be like the radiant quests from Skyrim. Have I hit a progression bug, or do I just need to level up a bit to trigger it? I'm level 18 or so, I believe.[/sp]

Had it forever, dunno how to get rid of it.

No options are there.

Gone to see a doctor about it yet?
Edit: Some related stuff here, spoilers mind you.
Valentine is the MAN
Love him
Did people really not know this?
Well there was some confusion as well for a time when people suspected that using a junk item in crafting made you lose the other components (.e.g using a screw out of a desk fan lost the steel) but in actuality the components are saved, just not visible numerically in the workshop unless you transfer more components of the same type in

Found some floating bears. The radiation effects us all in different ways, I guess.
[sp]WHAT THE FUCK WHY IS THERE A LEGENDARY DEATHCLAW IN THE HOSPITAL
I AM LEVEL 8[/sp]
Alright, so PSA: YOU DON'T HAVE TO MANUALLY DISMANTLE JUNK. TRANSFER IT TO YOUR WORKSHOP INVENTORY. THERE'S A BUTTON ON THE BOTTOM THAT SAYS TRANSFER ALL JUNK. HIT THAT SHIT LIKE A 50'S WIFE.
Wait so does all that dismantled junk travel? Like, is it in every workshop?
My screen has a greenish-yellow and very bright tint, like I'm looking through night vision and my last save without it was 2 hours ago.. Is there a console command to remove screen overlays or am I totally out of luck?
Oh god new radscorpions are scary.
Wait so does all that dismantled junk travel? Like, is it in every workshop?
You need local leader level 1 for that (CHA 6 perk)
What are those pieces used with the Brotherhood flag on them? I can't find any good walkway pieces like them.
It's a regular L shaped wall but I placed one of those little bridges at it to hold up the sentries. I think it's under roofs in the wooden section. It looks kind of like one of those coastline bridges.
Valentine is the MAN

Honestly one of the best companions in the game, he's got a really awesome personality
I don't know if I've been doing it wrong but I collect shit with parts I need out in the wasteland, then use said junk to upgrade weapons. Should I have been dismantling it in some way?
Honestly one of the best companions in the game, he's got a really awesome personality
Valintine is all about HUSSLE, LOYALTY, and RESPECT which is how I roll
But he doesn't like sarcasm unfortunately.
Kind of a joke how you have to be a level 2 in 'local leader' to get more power armor workshops.
Also, what's the quickest way to dismantle junk other than chucking it on the ground and doing it with the workshop editor? If there isn't another way, that's kinda ridiculous and someone should get onto modding that in as a thing.
The tutorial said long as Junk is either in your inventory or in the workshop inventory, it would automatically break it down as needed.
Why do the premade corner pieces not line up correctly?
