[sp]Seems like she likes whenever you're nice or attempt to avoid confrontation.[/sp]
okay what the FUCK

Ye, what skyward said. [sp]I kept on choosing the kind dialogue options and after only a few hours of having her as a companion it triggered the quest to turn her into a synth. The only problem is that I've done pretty much no story missions so I gotta get further to be able to trigger the convo with the doc to convert her.[/sp]
im so pissed at myself oh my god. i was starting a settlement at the drive-in theater and built a house, proceeded to build a wall around the house. after i finished the wall, i see codsworth open a 'wall' like a gate. it turns out all the walls i built were fucking openable gates. raiders could literally just open up every single goddamned wall i built if they want to. how the fuck did i not notice they were gates?
The weapons trader at Diamond City stocks it.
That's HEAVY Combat Armor tho.
They don't stock that in Diamon City, I got it from a gunner camp that I raided.
It was built out of containers, close to the Finch Farm, can't remember the name.
I ran into a friendly deathclaw. He helped me kill some stingwings then went back to chilling in his little alcove. What a bro =3

You both look like you're about to drop the biggest beat since 2077.
major spoiler:
[sp]I think I'm going to be the first to say that the ending is extremely, extremely disappointing. No reflection on how I changed/effected the wasteland on my quests? No final debrief about my actions? They were meaningless? Okay.[/sp]
I saw a downed BoS vertibird so I went to investigate. Got a sweet bomber jacket out of it. Promptly stepped on a land mine. Oh well, its not like I wanted that jacket anyways.
whoa that's really fucking strange. it seems the 2 floating yao guai's is in the exact same spot for you as it was for me.
So is there any way to recharge fusion cores or even make them last longer? I want to use my power armor but I feel like I never get a chance since I can't take it anywhere. If I do find a situation where I would use it I'd have to go all the way to my base, come back, use it, then bring it all the way back to my base. Right now I have used it once, otherwise it has been collecting dust. I'd love to be able to stomp around in the armor and actually make use of it but the power limits have been keeping me from doing that.
What does a + next to an object name mean when looting?
heyoo
I knew this was coming but I didn't expect it so quickly
also ghouls still having normal hair is freaky as hell

Invest in Intelligence.
4 Powercores can be found in General Atomics, and Powercores can be scavenged from Sentry Bots? and other super bot things.

Higher stats than what's currently equipped

Also, Fast traveling doesn't use energy.

I thought it just meant it has an upgrade that makes it better than the standard version of the weapon?
Also, had to send strong to another stronghold (heh) because he doesn't shut up. I think it might be a glitch. He finishes one random dialogue and goes STRAIGHT to the next one. Was driving me insane.
I'll just stick to buzz-brotherhood-lightyear for now.
So uh, not sure what to do now.
[sp]I found the Institute. I know about Father and him being Shaun and all that. Am I just... done with the main quest now? It seems like Father is just giving me a lot of pretty arbitrary side quests. Or will these lead to a story conclusion later on?[/sp]
Try to keep replies as spoiler-free as possible :v:
Anyone else give their companions power armor? Mine always seem to get the pieces blown off their frames immediately. Kind of a hassle.
so my fps still tanks heavily in the city areas while its at a stable 60 nearly anywhere else including interiors
turning godrays off does absolutely nothing, same amount of frames
what is this port

It means you have a weapon of the same type.

Ah, hadn't noticed that part of those perks before. Unless you can amass a ton of cores it still seems like using the armor would still be tedious.
How to play Fallout 4 with a friend:
Start a new character with a friend, play until you get a pipboy. Launch pipboy companion app, hand it to your friend who will play the role as the Rougeish AI infecting your pipboy, hilarity and amusement to follow.
Don't pick the Mysterious Stranger perk if you don't plan on upgrading it fully. He has only appeared three times for me so far. And he was the 2nd perk I picked. I am now level 18.
