You know, I think Fallout 4 captured one of those essential elements of the survival genre that a lot of games miss, which is the ability to make finding the most mundane things feel rewarding. Any game that makes you go, "fuck yeah, discarded aluminum cans!" is doing something right.

Part of what I love about how Fallout 4 looks is it's art style. It looks a lot like the old Fallout 1 & 2 CGI stuff, in the best way.

I don't know how you figure the fact that the game is crashing less than older bethesda games somehow rectifies the fact that the game runs like shit. those are two completely different issues.

As in you can navigate most of the menus with the left side of the keyboard and stuff like dialogue/construction is stuck to arrow keys unless you want to use the mouse which lots of people don't really like.

Never gave me an option when near one of the gens with partly charged cores. And I don't ever recall empty cores showing up in the INV.

the game has crashed twice for me and did run for shit on day one but I must have done some good tweaks because I maintain 60 pretty much every where on my 680 on mediumish settings, which is pretty good considering it's a aging 680. there's no doubt the games broken for some people, but it's not like arkham knight broken, and not even that wide spread.

Until I got scrapper I was always on the lookout for fans because I knew there were screws in them. I still pick them up from time to time.

Yeah, I love the way Vault suits look like a combination of Fallout 3's/NV's and Fallout 1 and 2.

Right, gotcha. So the Vault 111 Jumpsuit is an exception, then. Because it has Damage and Energy Resistance by default...and you're saying NONE of the other clothing in the game has stats? I'm pretty sure I came across Child of Atom Rags that are base level clothing which give you +25 Rad Resistance or something.
Holy shit, I was using vats with an unarmed build in the Museum of Freedom and my PC judo flipped a raider over and snapped her neck.
I was never too interested in settlement building and crafting until the game came out, now I've probably spent more than half my 13 hour playthrough building stuff and looting garbage to make a scope for my favourite rifle.
I fought [sp]Swan[/sp] for the first time, but it was piss easy even on very hard because I had this. No power armor and all I had to do was use 2 clips.
