sooo when do you get the chance to get preston as your companion because i'm fairly sure i've missed it and in typical bethseda fashion, am now locked out of it due to a bug
preston just wont say anything to me at all. and he isn't the first character to do this, either. paul from diamond city is currently standing in the middle of the wasteland, being completely uninteractable. I hope this doesn't happen to too many other npc's

there's rare magazines that unlock more hairstyles too which is really cool. a couple of them are pretty slick
I felt so bad about using ~unlock to get the Cryolator that I sold it for like 150 caps or so once I got to diamond city

The toilet only provides 1 ceramic because you careful cut around the parts that are permanently stained with centuries of dried up piss and shit, removing most of the ceramic in the process.
So how long does it take to get new settlers now that I have the radio beacon? I thought it may have been a lot quicker, I have all these Submachine guns and army uniforms to dish out!
Idk if this has been answered yet, but how do I take a mod off of one weapon and put it onto another? I have two rifles, 1 with a bayonet and 1 with a full stock. I wanna swap one of these parts onto the other but I can't figure out how.

You have to do "talk" (the top option) first and then "dismiss"

haha i'm always selling off really good shit too because i never have enough caps for anything
unfortunately the guns I have that I want to sell for profit sell for so much that no shop owner has enough caps to give me. essentially i use them as trades so i can get stockpiles of adhesive and cork or whatever crafting materials i need since some of them cost ghastly amounts of money for such a small amount

You mean uninteractable as in, if you talk to them they just sort of say some random filler stuff?
If so, I got the same thing with Piper atm, happened after I tried sending her to an already companion full settlement, and by selecting none it actually worked, haven't been able to "talk" with her since.
Anyone got a solution for this?
