You should try reverting back to the 335.23 drivers if the problems persist. (That's the one that worked for me) It's really easy, just google 335.23, download it from nVidia's official site and then run and install it. That's all you have to do. (Don't forget to reboot!)
Can someone tell me if they get any fps improvements with the new 344.11 nvidia drivers? I'm going to be out all day so I can't check. Thanks.
I've seen some improvements tho there's still some stuttering.
Here's my first wonderful experience playing this on XBONE. I pop this in, and notice it's still in the middle of installing. Well, fuck. Oh, but it says it's ready to play. Cool. I press new game. It tells me it isn't installed enough to play. What the actual fuck. What about Nightmare mode? "Nightmare mode is like the real game but SUPER TOUGH and EXTRA EXTREME" Ok. Wait, it works. Why does this work when a normal game won't? Am I lucid right now? Is this real life? Okay, dumbass tutorial and overblown credits are out of the way, and it's time for the real game. Oh, sweet, I have a saw-hammer, this is cool. Hey, I'm having fun! I'm driving now? That's fun too. There's a survivor under attack? Okay, let's save him! Alright, I ran over almost all the zombies, now what? Taylor? Do I have to talk to him? Taylor you are safe now. "HEYLP" Why won't it let me talk to him? "HEYLP" Taylor you dumb fuck what do you want? I'm going to kick you off of this platform. Now he's floating in midair. "Please help!" Taylor, for Christ's sake if you don't do anything I'm going to run you over until you do. Then zombies blew up my car and the game froze at the loading screen. I fucking hate the Xbox One. I fucking hate video games.
How well does the co-op work on PC? Is there any major lag? If I complete some missions as Dick and I go back to the main game as Nick, will there be an option to skip the completed missions?
I think in co-op the only things that transfer between both are Nick's stats, PP earned, and collectibles. The co-op...well honestly there was pretty horrible matchmaking last time I played, but not nearly as bad as DR2 I think. Basically, you can't skip missions because they are based solely on time and Nick's current progress (Dick only progresses with the things that do transfer over from Nick).
For the second time in the game I was told to get an acytalene tank alright look, I know what you're planning to do with it, and I fully agree that it's going to be badass when you're done, but honestly, [sp]Rhonda[/sp], fuck off. [editline]20th September 2014[/editline] Oh, nevermind, they made it really convenient this time.

The NVIDIA CTD crashes have been fixed. http://steamcommunity.com/games/265550/announcements/detail/147814131250003732
Hello Dead Rising fans, First and foremost, I’d like to thank all of you for your patience and tons of helpful feedback you’ve provided while the dev team worked on resolving the crashing issues. The team has been working very closely with NVidia to find solutions to the crashes that have been affecting certain Nvidia users, and now we are happy to announce that the new 344.11 WHQL driver released today should address most of these problems. I would love to be able to use this but I'm afraid I'd just be dropped in a regular mechanic suit or unable to join or something.
How does modding like this work out in coop? I would love to be able to use this but I'm afraid I'd just be dropped in a regular mechanic suit or unable to join or something.
Considering it's all standard content and not modded, I guess it would probably work. In essence, your game is most likely telling the other player's game "the character is wearing X shoes, X shirt, X pants" and so on, so I'd say that having it tell the other character to display the new costumes isn't that much of a stretch.
Yeah but what about the Mountain Dew Rollerhawg? Like the game is unplayable until I can drive that.
The performance has been updated, but it still isn't that good, actually I think my FPS is a bit worse, use to go to 60 now and then, hardly does, sticks around in the 50-40 fps now. And my CPU temps are still crap.
My FPS is a lot better lately and I'm not crashing as often (before the new drivers and patch, I crashed like 5 times in 3 hours, and now I've crashed twice in 8 hours), but the FPS is still pretty off. With zombie quality at Medium, I shouldn't be dropping to 30 FPS with a GTX 760 when I'm usually 50-55.

I haven't crashed once, the worst thing that ever happens to me is lag
So, digging through the files...there's something called "Ending X" in the game. Why is there a cut ending from the game?
So, digging through the files...there's something called "Ending X" in the game. Actually, just it in general. First playthrough, it was nice. Playing the third DLC, it was obnoxious. Playing Nightmare Mode, it's making me just walk outside of where I need to go and make my goal "kill every fucking zombie in the street until either I level up and/or I can go talk to people again" because if I'm not close enough I'll be wasting time and shit Like, the only time it would need to exist is during your first playthrough. Afterwards, there's no need, there's nothing much more to explore.
Getting my new rig today, finally I can play this damn game.
I like how in the beginning there's prerendered cutscenes that don't happen anywhere else in the game. You can tell because no matter what you're wearing Nick'll suddenly go back to wearing coveralls and having his standard hair.
The in-engine coding for the Plane Crash cutscene still exists, just remains unused.
I would assume it's because they didn't want cutscenes playing poorly when they were showing off the PC version or something. Normal gameplay for me is basically solid, but cutscenes lag like hell, depending on where they are. Sometimes they work fine, but most of the scenes in the beginning of the game are laggy as shit. [editline]a[/editline] In other news woo hooray for that season pass (I think it was) dlc coming to pc
I feel like the patch has made my fps a bit worse. I used to be 50-60 where as now I'm more like 40-60 max settings
