The ignorance! It hurts my eyes more than playing a game at 30FPS! No in all seriousness most games in 30 fps can cause visual issues. That's why we're advised to take breaks every few hours while playing videogames. Higher framerates are easier on the eyes.
And you know, capping a game at 30 FPS On the PC is an insult.

Pretty sure the eye strain is from not moving your eyes and staring at a bright source of light that is a monitor from relatively close.

The Z.A.R. is really terrible though.
The split rifle is where it's at (Lead Pipe + Rifle). It chews through a horde like nobody's business.
And with the alternative-recipe you can use any gun to craft it, even turning a handgun into a rifle...
I've been experimenting with a few memory edits.
There are some things you can do to create a bit more of a sandbox environment;
Turn back the clock, set the time of day, unlimited durability / infinite ammo.
Those last two are kind of pointless once you reach level 50 though.
Items last so long then, they might as well be infinite.

Pause the game and press 'M'. It's down the bottom of the pause menu.
