Black Mesa Source V5 - "They're still working on Xen?"

Fullbright is not fully fixed. It disappeared only after I upgraded my graphic card driver. I was so excited. But it still possible to get fullbright glitch. After going into video settings and changing nothing and accepting these changes it happened. It disappeared shortly after changing fullscreen settings and shaders quality and setting them back.
And ties are ridiculous everywhere. And not only ties (I've noticed that also with zombie guards' jaws). They shaking as crazy. They calm only for moment I take screenshot.

Well, what they have in common is that they use jiggle-bones i'm pretty sure.
I have not had the problem tho.
I'm not sure what that is, could you elaborate?. We believe those steps will resolve the issue for everyone. Thanks guys!
What Richard9311 said.
So far, when pressing Use on scientists (before the resonance chamber), I've been called Dr. Truman and Dr. Cross.
Am I hearing snippits of conversation intended for NPCs?
Also, the head-bobbing when moving - was that toggleable in the mod version's options, or is that something you can only change via console?

It is a slider in the "Black Mesa" tab of the options menu
One thing i'd like to note in terms of the televisions with the Emergency Broadcast System screen on them, considering the Black Mesa incident takes place sometime after 2000 it should be the Emergency Alert System instead since the EBS was phased out in favor of the latter in 1997.

Oh, that's what view-roll is, thanks! I had no idea what that meant. :v:
I talked to the security guard who guards the resonance chamber, he said get my suit. Ok, I did, then I went to the sector B airlock (first time) and the guy was like "sorry ace, this STILL isn't the right chamber." But we never talked before, silly!
Was it an artistic choice to remove the suit zoom in graphic HL2 had? Is that feature exclusive to the Mark V?

Yeah the issue seems to be with jiggle bones. We'll look into it.

About the Dr. Cross one I'm sure is a nod to Gina Cross, as the guy is backwards and can't see you. No idea about Truman.
I don't remember if someone has mentioned it, but the "classic zoom" doesn't work right. Sure, on the .357 and the crossbow it will just zoom, but as soon as you aim your crosshair to a npc, it will toggle the ironsights/scope, and it will be stuck on that anim after unzoom until you switch into another weapon.
On another note, we believe our patch did resolve the fullbright issues for any new players, but we have since learned that if you have already had fullbright problems, it may not be automatically resolved.
I thought this issue was on my end. Played through more than half of the game and it was suddenly fixed after loading a save. Thanks :)
One of my friends said that they heard the free version will still be updated and the steam version will essentially be a donate button, is that true?
They were trying to go for more realistic sounding soldiers in the Steam versions. The Voice actor did the soldier voices in Insurgency.
He also did Underhell's Soldiers too.

No. Huge work like this takes lots of time, which is needed for attending to the developers' lives. They simply can't get all their plans done without a budget so that they make some money off of this.
-snip okay then sorry i guess-
Minor bug, but a friend told me the medic lines for Marines don't work, and the console spams errors about being unable to locate the files. He said the sounds are there, they just aren't being located. I suspect a typo in the npc_sounds file, but I don't have retail to check it myself.

Made a sound compilation/mod if anybody wants to try it out, I'm not gonna upload it to the workshop because it contains other sound mods in it for the moment.
From me it has the gib sounds I did way back for the original release, along with some modified MP5, shotgun, glock, and changed explosion sounds, mostly focused on adding a little more bass, and sounds to replace the body impacts from source based on the FEAR sounds.
Yeah the issue seems to be with jiggle bones. We'll look into it.
Just a quick one, is it still the plan to release the source code to the public for modding?
Not sure if im late but, the Tau's first draw sound uses samples from Doom's doors (To be more exact, the door opening sounds).
Liking the mod so far, also, its running at a stable FPS for me (heard people had FPS issues)
Huh. That ammo pack thing reminded me of something I recently found.
Apparently the HL1 magnum ammo box had some pretty neato art on it:

[sp]This is from the beta when it was still .44 ammo, but it's the cleanest image I can find[/sp]
So I figured "Hey, I'm mediocre at graphic design, why not give remaking it a shot?"

What d’you guys think? Is it worth continuing?
Starting polishing this up a tad. Wanted to tackle the actual drawing first, as it will take the longest.

[sp]feck me I forgot how long vector drawings take ;~;[/sp]
We are seeing this bug reported a lot but it only ever showed up once in our testing sessions, and that was for me.
Could you explain what happened leading up to that bug? Did it happen after you loaded a save, threw a grenade, etc etc?

I killed the helicopter before these 2 agrunts had the time to start combat with the HECU, so it seems their AI broke and now they're just chillin' with me
I like that some monitors have a windows 98 desktop and have a firefox shortcut
Several things I have found in we've got hostiles. There is an old crate model, I am not sure if it is intended to be here or not, but it looks awfully out of place.

also, this decal is under a model.

You know that bit in Surface Tension where the HECU play whack-a-mole with the Freeman, as you pop up out of holes while dodging a tank? Well the tank in that bit seems to wallhack at you and shoot towards you regardless of whether it has line of sight. This means that, not only is it really difficult to pop up out of holes without getting shot at immediately, but the tank also ends up killing half the HECU before you can fight them, because it's firing randomly around the map trying to shoot through solid brushwork.
I can also confirm, for-sure, that the ragdoll bug occurs after saving and loading.
Internet was out so I couldn't answer immediately but yeah, I second that.
Ragdoll bug happened when I quickloaded before helicopter fight.

That's pretty much the tank AI. I made a map where I placed a brush between me and a tank, and the tank just kept firing at the brush trying to get me.
