So, me with a friend did a couple of console commands to play Black Mesa Co-op, anyone interested?
Its REALLY glitchy, and likes to crash. And you cant interract with objects once you have died.

Also, map crashes when it changes.
Funny how the first release of Black Mesa was in the midst of all these retro revival fps games
Black Mesa isn't working for me. It's just stuck "validating" the files then it says steam is too busy to handle my request.
i opted in to the steampipe beta or whatever you call it and it updated the sdk base 2007. happy to report that everything's been in tip-top shape so far.

Link me to whatever .fgd file they're using and I'll gladly disprove(or prove) this.

Anyone got a link to that playthrough with the guy who was stuck at a particular point in, I think it was Apprehension and called the game "bugged" because he had to crouch-jump to bypass that particular puzzle?

Here's an abridged version:

He's just like typical Valve playtester
""""""""bugged""""""""

Heehee, when he finally gets up and jumps across and it's too high again :D
even after they fucking told him how to crouch jump he kept calling it a "bugged jumping mechanic" and acted like crouch jumping was a glitch

Someone should give him that Hazardous Course 2 one.
Y'know, since he does know what he's talking about with REAL mechanics.
Is funny because the DEVs decided to cut Hazardous Course: "everybody knows now how to play Half-Life"
At least there is a team remaking it.
Games are very hard these days, they should be made more accessible. I would probably add "auto-jump".
I hope Valve will hire him as playtester, or maybe he works there already? I believe he was the one who got lost in the Parish park during the early playtests...
Or those who got confused with toggling on/off the RPG laser at HL2, or dizzy while using the stick gel in Portal 2...
So, no word about that pizza ARG?

Actually, you can see why they scrapped the sticky gel if you play Paint (I think its called), that the gels were based off of. it was very easy to get disorientated and a bit ill if you had to change surface angles a lot.
To be fair, they could have introduced the crouch jump better, considering it's such a vital mechanic. They introduced it in the same place you first get attacked by a headcrab, so people's attention is on that instead of what they're being taught. You can see that in the video, he's like "What the hell's a crouch jumpOSHITAHEADCRABMONSTER!" There's a reason Valve tends to teach people game mechanics in low-stress environments without distractions.
