Based on LD arms would be awesome. From what I understand the idea of the original arms LD (REALLY Old BMS screenshots) was look something like "fiberglass" or something.

You know one thing I find interesting about modeling in BMS? All editions are weapons. But I never saw editing of NPCs, I mean new models, or model improvements of them. I'm not complaining, just think ... curious.
Aren't the HECU soldiers in BMS on valve-biped?
I think the HECU soldiers in BMS lose a lot of original style, I mean, is only a soldier vest, not something like PCV (Opposing force) The gas masks not fit. I like the long sleeves detail, make sense.

Are divergent opinions, some consider canon, others do not. The official definition is that it is not canon, but the HD pack made ​​by Gearbox scored many people and made ​​many people believe that the PCV was something already standard. They were fun to fight, but never mentioned anywhere else in HL.
