The mods we really need are more faces and hairs. I feel that would open the doors to making way more squad variation and parody characters.
Here my final mod logo: [t]http://i.imgur.com/jId3GcF.png[/t] This was inspired by the Jagged Alliance 2 and Unfinished Business main menus. I mean it could work as a black background too, but I wanted to try something. Should I switch back to a black background, or use a different one? Here's my Wave 1 pack prototype logo: [t]http://i.imgur.com/6q4Qip2.png[/t] I wanted to fit with the Advent Resistance theme, so I took some inspiration from the ADVENT future website again to make this. I manually corrupted the background image, and applied a lot of static and a lot of red. I'd admit there's too much red, so I'll probably tone it down a bit, and it's a bit rushed. Any suggestions on how to improve? Sadly, I don't have a lot of time though, since I'll be away from the computer on Thursday afternoon, and I won't be back until Sunday afternoon. So my goal is to upload tomorrow.

I thought it only does some extra damage to robotics and apply a hacking defence debuff. I said Viper rounds, but I meant anything that causes DoT because it helps me guarantee an enemy is dead with one shot, even if the damage is not enough. I think I'll try to place more emphasis on snipers on the next playthrough. This one was heavily centered around Rangers (later Specialists, shut down all of the things) and Grenadiers, I barely had work for snipers. By the end I felt like they just occupy a slot better given to someone else.

Everything up till then was easymode thanks to [sp]super commander-avatar[/sp] but facing off against [sp]three avatars, plus dozens of tough enemies like codexes and andromedons[/sp] made it very close going for a while. The Ethereals talking about some greater darkness is a good setup for another game, too. Sounds exciting and eldritch-y to me. Sharpshooter-Sniper saved my ass so god damned hard on my enemy VIP capture just now. I activated a MEC/Sectopod group ahead of me and a soldier patrol behind me (my dumb ass sneaked past them to save turns), leaving almost all of my soldiers flanked or very flankable. After expending the last of my explosives and having everyone shoot instead of move to cover, the Sniper grappled onto a nearby rooftop and managed to Serial everything including the Sectopod (with Deadeye). Really, autoloader seems to be the best perk by far for Sharpshooters
