I wonder if a decent fix to the time limit "problem" would be to add comm links like the ones in enemy within, where it would disable enemy weapons for one turn, and stop the timer for one as well. There would only be two in the map and it'd be a guaranteed hack.

I did have one of them unburrow and attack a civillian instead of sprinting towards my closest soldier from across the map.
Thankfully my concealed Ranger was scouting nearby so my squadsight Snipers made short work of the cocoon before shit could hit the fan.
They do seem squishier and a bit dumber compared to EU for me atleast.
Although seeing them once again gave me some serious XCOM PTSD :v:

Nothing wrong with some accessories and visual extras, it's the gameplay modifications to avoid if you want a pure first experience in my opinion.

This mod is pretty handy, it makes the LoS indicator over enemies before you move turn yellow if the spot is a flanking position on them.

Advent doesn't dogpile the player because gameplay but this is a pretty good lore reason. Those dropships are [I]huge[/I], if they wanted to absolutely swarm us they'd need a massive amount of space to land them in the first place.

Could you do like a ADVENT security complex walled off with vans, cars and maybe an APC parked on a small parking lot with a checkpoint gate?

I'm really surprised he hasn't made a variation of the kevlar helmet with the ballistic goggles mounted on top. Would be rather simple, no?
I just want him to make a mask or helmet or something that fits with the warden tier armor.
I wonder if it'd be possible to make a mod that lets you edit the primary and secondary colors of individual body parts rather than everything as a whole.

He means why advent doesn't just send like 5 dropships at once, because they're so big they'd struggle to land.

- Downlaod ADVENT helmets pack.
- Upgarde to Warden
- Change cosmetic armor to ADVENT trooper/lancer/captain/shieldbearer armor.
- Look badass
- Retain improved stats

The uniform manager mod's great, but I wish they carried over across playthroughs.
Ahahah, just had my gunslinger land three 28% shots and crit every time, got promoted, and gained Untouchable through the AWC.
Was scrolling my FB feed and found a post by Gamestop about XCOM 2 patch, and it said it fixes performance. I got really excited, and then checked the date of the post on website and it was the hotfix from last week. :(

The patch honestly made things worse for me
By worse I mean missions run better but the game literally takes 20 minutes of freezing my computer and lagging to start up.
Yeah, before the patch the game would sit at about 2-3 gigs of ram, now its constantly at 5-6 gigs
The Sharpshooters "fire pistol at every visible enemy" perk is utterly glorious, lost count of the times I've launched a nade into a building then sent a sharpshooter running in to mop up!
Had to delete an iron man run because a sectoid managed to raise a body from under the train after I blew it up, and now it's just making ragdoll noises and I can't take my turn.
That satisfying feeling when you corner an Advent officer, skulljack it, then everyone's on overwatch so they murder the computer waifu before it can do any serious harm.
