So, after the hotfix the game is literally unplayable for me. My cpu spikes to 97% and the game refuses to even launch, thanks a lot firaxis this has made the game so much worse for me.
There's a mod on the workshop that gives all your guys the ability to dash and melee organic enemies with your gun, using the vip subdue anim. It's called"beatdown" and is THE premier method of finishing some stun lancer fucksticks

As a recommendation watch the series :happy: If you liked the movie you'll love the TV series, Stargate SG-1 even more.
The movie is a starting point and it's good, but hot damn the series was just unreal in how great it was, literally my favorite sci-fi series.

Yeah that's my main problem as well. I could animate it but I know nothing about how to mod the game.
I've also never seriously animated anything outside sfm so there's also that.

Also in the book, which is based after X-COM failed, apparently Vahlen managed to escape and obtain her own secret volcano lair. :v: the book itself is mediocre, but this is just great.

Just stop at season 8 though. Once Richard Dean Anderson left, the show lost its heart (and budget).
Team Soul Edge goes well. I'm almost done editing the first stupid video. Just got to narrate it.
I also wonder what the first DLC is going to have. Hopefully well get a lot of new content down the line, much like Enemy Within

It does 1-3 damage though and can't crit. There's hardly any circumstances to use it unless you go out of your way to do that, so it really doesn't break anything.

If I remember correctly it also has a chance of stunning organic enemies, or disorienting them, can't remember which.
It's basically a nerfed arc sword for non-rangers, except that you should be using your rangers for melee in the first place.
I am so hype for the MGS BDUs, you have no idea. I can't wait to make some decent soldiers once I get my hands on it. Ninja Nub is a god damn hero.

Custom weapon set. Replace the sword with bare hands. Much like the SMG Pack, you trade damage for mobility due to less weapon weight, but can equip various weapon tiers that can improve punching power as power fists or shit. Like big metal hands, or gauntlets with an iron stake pilebunker, or so forth.

The problem is that adds like, 100 options for each body part and your rookies come in horrible mishmashes of tier 1 2 and 3 armor.
I just want sleeves that don't have stupid shoulder pads and armor plates.

Our favourite commander is visiting Firaxis again, this time, not at E3, but at Firaxis Studios.
Goddamn Gatekeepers. Pretty sure I had one explode next to a relay I was supposed to defend and blow it up.
Next mission I got a lucky execute on one and killed it at full health...trouble is, it exploded right next to the VIP so I failed that mission too.

It can work in your favour too though, i once had a hacked andromedon-shell punch one of the suckers, and the resulting explosion took two Archons along with it, with the shell surviving to boot.
[sp] If you're quick enough during the final mission, you can make the gatekeeper explode in the middle of the Chryssalid horde, great way to quickly take care of em.[/sp]

Man 2 Vipers fucking destroyed me with me missing every shot 3 rounds in a row and absolutely destroying my heavy and poisoning my sniper,
i was more butthurt over that then i have ever been at any other video game. Thin man 2.0 are some bullshit man.
