I don't know, Orkz don't care much for cover do they?
Well I guess if you are fielding massive groups of them as opposed to just a few select troops you'd be using sheer numbers to overwhelm and overpower, I guess they would sorta get the concept of cover, although I figure most Orkz units would be just sort of "Get into your face and smash them apart" aside from some special units like warboss units that would sit back near the rear of the field and issue orders or provide buffs to various units. Again no idea how it could be made to work with XCom 2 mechanics.
The XCOM website has been updated again, Advent hack has been replaced with this:
ADVENT Virus isolated and destroyed Commander, in our efforts to evaluate the progress of the resistance, we discovered that ADVENT had deployed a virus onto our network systems. We are happy to report that this virus has been isolated and destroyed, although it resulted in a loss of some collected data. We will continue to monitor activity, but know that all communications and statistics from our operatives in the field are now current and accurate as of today. ADVENT is in for a rude awakening if they think XCOM will be defeated by such routine tactics.

I don't know, Orkz don't care much for cover do they?
If you live longer, you fight longer. Also yeah they do, at least until its time to charge! Watch the original Dawn of War intro.
40k conversion mod anyone?
Kartoffel has pretty good plans, so ask him about it. Help would probably be appreciated as well, if any can be given.
That's all well and good but what does it mean?
It probably means that their statistics system has been eating shit lately and they updated/reworked it, and nothing else.
Started working on a new environment type for the next WEP - 'Abandoned City'
How did that happen though. How could Advent build a city that then became abandoned? Now if there was a way to tie such environment type to progression, that would be awesome. Player does all those terrorist activities, and then comes across a city that got abandoned because of XCOM. That would be cool.

Advent gave up on it and left.

Having some progression in maps would still be pretty cool though.
[t]http://puu.sh/nmgWX/050dccf576.jpg[/t]
Oh that's fantastic.

A tileset that would make more sense is abandoned old world city tilesets. Tenements, Office buildings, etc that overgrown and abandoned. A city (or urban area) that for whatever reason the ADVENT administration didn't redevelop into one of their shining utopias. (Basically the XCOM 2 equivalent of Half Life 2's studies in urban decay)
Can anyone help me out with a problem I'm having in my campaign? I'm in mid may of 2035, not sure if the in game date matters, but my problem is supplies. I've got the entire North American continent contacted and have radio relays built on them. The 3 regions are giving me $116, $163, and $181 for what should be a total of $460/mo. But my income is only listed as $170/mo and that's all I get when the supply drops happen. There's no dark event currently going that cuts my income in half, and even if there was it should be $230 not $170. Like 2 months ago in game there was the 'Next supply drop is 50% less' dark event but that's only supposed to last for 1 month right? so what's going on?
Mass Effect 'N7' pack would be really rad. Include all the armours from ME3 mp because there's a whole lot of N7 human characters in there, weapons and even classes. That would be so fucking rad.
Aren't those just reskins though?
I don't think so. There's 2 new props for the plated armor and 3 camos.
Probably facility maintenance.
How do you see what you're currently spending on facility maintenance? I mean I'm pretty well built up but I can't imagine I'm spending $290/mo on maintenance...

Yeah, I was mainly going down the 'partially constructed city' route as mentioned by honestfam, but if I can get custom assets working I would like to make more 'regular' city-style buildings as well. In the mean time I'll keep cracking on with this, but that's just a quick mockup really to demo what I'm planning. The final buildings will be really deserted and everything will be largely empty and abandoned. I'm envisioning resistance bases in these as well, so a bit of a mix between slums, shanty and wilderness.

That's in the game's lore, there's even a mission in it.
I'm still waiting for my crotch plate mod
What about an ADVENT Burger place? McElder's or something
What about an ADVENT Burger place? McElder's or something
Shen and Tygan keep talking about those super delicious Advent burgers.
Buckaroo Burger Soft juicy and full of flavor - cheese pickle tomato lettuce and fresh angus beef all wrapped up on a freshly baked sesame bun The Buffalo Chicken Classic Soft melted cheddar cheese melted onto a panko breaded chicken breast rolled in juicy buffalo sauce made fresh in house. Sesame bun perfection Cowboy Burger Diggyup Thick cut applewood smoked bacon fresh off the farm with melted American cheese, pickles, and iceberg lettuce with two smokin kobe beef patties "All burgers are synthesized in house by our professionals"
https://www.reddit.com/r/Xcom/comments/45h62q/ever_wondered_what_advent_burgers_look_like_image/
The hamburglar is Tygan in a burglar outfit.
That font makes me unnecessarily angry.
