So, uh. Xcom2 seems to have spontaneously uninstalled itself.
Mind Controlled my first Gatekeeper today. It was fun death raying ADVENT and then mass resurrecting all the bodies on the street. Too bad I had to kill it to get his shell for [sp]Alien Psi Amp[/sp]. I had to re-pop open its shell every time I shot it and it kept cowering each time I did. I felt super bad when it finally died in a flailing fit. Blew up my guys around it a little because "oh duh, they explode", but that's the price to pay for my sins...? That was a VIP extraction mission. We don't keep the corpses or wrecks. Eggbert the Gatekeeper died for nothing. I'm really sad now.

no seriously what happened, no voice lines are played anymore. The Avenger itself, Shen and Tygan and Central are all silent and no subtitles show either, but preview voicelines of soldiers works fine. It can't be because I completed a blacksite mission, right?

There's no shortage of modern-style buildings and props in there. There's also APC's and Military Trucks would be cool as a template for an old battlefield, or a Resistance Base. You could also retexture the APC with ADVENT colour and markings and put an ADVENT Turret on it, since it's 3 blocks wide as opposed to the current 2 blocks wide APC. There's also props for UMP's on the ground, which you could use to make it look like at least [I]someone[/I] tried to fight the ADVENT retaliation.

I git really lucky that the first shot came from a shredding plasma cannon and the last came from Jane Kelly

Holy shit the RNG is real.[/QUOTE] I watched a streamer fail a mission, the drop ship let off an ADVENT Officer, a Stun Lancer, and an ADVENT MEC. They reloaded and replayed the mission, and this time the drop was just 2 ADVENT Soldiers.
Just in case no one else figured it out yet: If you fail to hack a turret/sectopod/MEC and give it the Aim/Defense buff, then succeed in hacking it after, the buff carries over when it's under your control So my favorite tactic now is to use my medic specialist to hack a mechanical target and fail, then use my tech specialist to hack it and succeed and get a boosted unit. Okay well that's my 2nd favorite tactic. My favorite tactic is setting the battlefield on fire.

robotic enemies are trivial once you have EMP bombs and bluescreen rounds

PSA: If you end a turn with a healthy soldier next to a poisoned soldier, the healthy soldier gets poisoned as well!

In which case it's going to be a pain.
