I'm not upset the first DLC is cosmetic stuff. I'm upset the cosmetics are some suicide squad Harley Quinn shit
I'm totally okay with this, since it's mixed in with some other cool stuff (those gasmasks are nice). Looking at the soldier bios, It's not like XCOM is recruiting the sanest of soldiers. And Capnbubs sates my thirst for serious operator gear. I'm wondering if Alien Hunters will have some more serious stuff (EU Helmets please).
I actually really like the mad max look it has going on, it will be perfect for the play-through im doing now where I have one squad of serious military veterans ranging from members of the previous XCOM to ex-ADVENT turncoats, and one squad of recruited resistance characters ranging from rebellious militant teenagers to psychotic ex-criminals.
Actually, it's "100% to Hit. 6 - 8 Damage." The two things are seperate, it is telling you your hit chance and then your damage roll under normal circumstances. A Dodge OR a Crit override that.
Or we could just add more GUI clatter and have the chances for enemy Dodge shown, as well as 3 possible damage outcomes (Regular/Crit/Dodge).
I'm a little bummed they went with the theme they did for the DLC. Not tremendously, I'll very likely still get it, but I was hoping the more far-fetched looking stuff would be what mods are for.
I heartily approve of the Nexus Mod Simulation DLC.
So what are the fucking FBX settings you need to do in 3ds max for the mesh to be valid? I can't find anything on what the 3ds max FBX export settings need to be in order to work. I've tried every single setting I can think of, and it always fails to import into the editor. Every single tutorial or bit of information I can find either assumes you already know the settings, or you're using Blender. I'm not using Blender, Blender doesn't work. I'm trying to import rigged FBX from 3ds max

hey guys, if youre playing ironman, DO NOT restart game critical missions (avenger defense, last story missions) it fucks up your snipers squadsight and you lose your armor's health and armor bonus [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Z8YX9yv.jpg[/thumb] i had to restart my entire ironman campaign because they werent strong enough to go against all the enemies
Still waiting on custom hair/face mods. I'm a bit surprised it hasn't happened yet. Not to sound unappreciative of people making mods, however. the MGS BDUs are fucking amazing, and so are a lot of content that's been put out on workshop/nexus.
Seems like my voicr pack is doing rather well, the reception has been positive so far and a whole bunch of downloads, awesome!
I'm watching the Two Best Friends play XCOM 2 and They haven't won a single mission.
Honestly that looks kinda ?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?. It's not even resistancey in terms of raggedness or whatever, it's just kinda childish. I'm biased obviously to the tacticool shit but heck.
It looks silly when you have a full squad fully equipped with DLC stuff, but I think it'll look better when used a bit more sparingly in combination with existing stuff.
I'm watching the Two Best Friends play XCOM 2 and They haven't won a single mission.
"Losing means you shouldn't have tried" - Woolie sums up that whole playthrough nicely
I wonder if anyone is gonna make a Fallout raider voice pack to go with the new DLC
I'm watching the Two Best Friends play XCOM 2 and They haven't won a single mission.
Pat is terrible at Xcom. I doubt his claims of beating it are even true.
I'm watching the Two Best Friends play XCOM 2 and They haven't won a single mission.
in a recent stream beaglerush suggested he might do a reaction/critic of it in the future [editline]10th March 2016[/editline]
Pat is terrible at Xcom. I doubt his claims of beating it are even true.
he relies way too much on grenades and has no foresight, like he forgets there's more pods besides the one he's currently fighting
Pat is terrible at Xcom. I doubt his claims of beating it are even true.
They're also playing on the hardest difficulty, which I think most players would struggle with.
They're also playing on the hardest difficulty, which I think most players would struggle with.
They were only on commander.
so is it me or does kill zone have some sort of invisible aim penalty? because my sniper who should by all rights be popping off those shots like hot butter, misses 90% of the time
so is it me or does kill zone have some sort of invisible aim penalty? because my sniper who should by all rights be popping off those shots like hot butter, misses 90% of the time
The 30% overwatch penalty still applies, doesn't it?
so is it me or does kill zone have some sort of invisible aim penalty? because my sniper who should by all rights be popping off those shots like hot butter, misses 90% of the time
Most likely bad luck. Also you gotta take into account that it acts like an overwatch shot, so it has the standard overwatch aim penalty, plus if it's in squadsight, you'd most likely have some aim reduced.
2 questions do can flamethrowers destro cover? second one, are flamethrowers worth taking?
second one, are flamethrowers worth taking?
Not until they actually make enemies panic properly, there's a mod to fix that however, but generally you want enemies to be dead, as panicked enemies may either friendly fire their own guys or even shoot yours.
Browsing through the XCOM 2 Editor to see if there are any unused models I can use for other attachment, no such luck unfortunately. On the other hand though, weirdly enough I found attachments for the assault rifle from EU. Apparently it too was gonna have attachments but I guess they scrapped it.
Didn't the Scope item in EU attach a scope to guns?
Not that I saw. Also folks, 400 MB patch is out. Notable things: Overall optimizations, everybody should get boosted performance. Killzone doesn't trigger while in concealment anymore. Fixed crits being inaccurate when over 100%. Shots cannot be dodged when the hit chance is 100%. Shots cannot be dodged when attacked from concealment. Mimic beacons aren't stupifyingly OP now, since they can't take cover and it's a 100% guarantee to hit them. Everything happens a lot faster, and there is an option under Gameplay options called Zip Mode to make it faster. Multiplayer no longer has a delay.
Didn't the Scope item in EU attach a scope to guns?
I'm playing through EU now. If you equip the scope it replaces your grenade.
• Graze is no longer a chance for 100% shots. Targets being shot by a concealed attacker cannot dodge Now you can stop whining
