XCOM V4: "Svinnik - Why is Shen's daughter asian, when Shen is black?" - Games

Grappled all the way into XCOM 2.

Man fuck grappling or flying or just moving at all inside ship maps like that one. Getting troops glitched out 24/7. Not as bad as the final mission though. Think I was always a soldier down towards the end because there's always some wanker that gets himself permanently stuck near the start of the mission.

Got my key about a day before release and was able to preload. Right now XCOM 2 is also 50% off there. Well it used to be. Usually the close to release it gets the more expensive it becomes. It's about 40% off right now.

I swear, Damage Roulette is the true hardmode of X-Com. Every shot at an alien does 1 damage, aliens never do a crit that does not instantly kill soldiers. I might drop it from my classic playthrough, because getting 3 1-damage shots in a row is just annoying, now.

I can't wait until I get my hands on that level editor. Going to create tons of Parcels and PCS! That's probably the biggest reason I'm having hard time not being hyped about.

Is it bad that the thing I'm most excited about in xcom 2 is customising my soldiers again? the first thing I do whenever I start an XCOM campaign is save-scum for soldiers with the correct nationalities- then I go on to make Myself, my friends and brothers, and as many video-game characters as I can think of. I didn't even realize it at first, but when I went back to do my final playthrough of Enemy Within, every time I customized a soldier I just felt "Ugh I want Xcom 2 so much". Other things to look for, too, yeah, but the customization honestly has me really waiting for it.

Only part of customization that has me worried is that the final tier Tron armour looks wholly incompatible with the entire "plucky resistance" aesthetic

I killed him again, game crashed on cutscenes, reloaded, and it put me back at where I killed him for the second time, but again he had max Health, so uh, I think that it might be tricky getting to the stat screen now.
