Better yet, mooch his entire account.
:O)
Already doing that. I have 270+ hours in Dark Souls 2 that he shared off his account. When I'm not a useless cunt and I get a job, he's welcome to mooch off my account aswell!
I'm really happy about XCOM 2. Everything about it is so positive to the point where it seems a little bit hard to believe things have turned out this well. Literally the only review that gave it a low rating was because the game is challenging.

My god Tier 3 armour looks stupid
I honestly don't mind it (Had seen it in earlier promotional stuff) - I quite like the skin tight bodysuit angle if only because it is so different to XCOM EU/EW, and its not like people won't mod in bulky stuff that must weigh a metric tonne.
I just hope the Resistance Pack that comes with EU-themed decos also has decos for tier 2 and 3 armours.
I don't mind the very graceful/alien sort of armour going on but I can't stand the futuristic exo arm things
With the improvised / primitive sort of aesthetic like you see with the standard Exo Suit it looks fine, in fact its pretty cool but this looks absurd:

What I really wanted was an armor system where you could mix and match different armor parts like you can with the guns in XCOM 2. Would really build the ragtag aesthetic
If there's enough outcry they might change it by the time the first DLC rolls around, like how they removed the boobplates on armor when EW hit
but I kinda want to try it myself, I only skimmed through the video to avoid spoilers
when XCOM EU came out there were, like, no deco options
just wait and see

What did these boobplates look like? I must have missed that entirely.

Looking at this, and the totalbiscuit video, it always bothered me how metal morphed with the model so much. And how they still haven't fixed it.

Yeah same, it's just a boneweighting issue, simple fix, dunno why they haven't fixed it.
I was under the impression that Xcom 2 was coming out on Feb. 9th. Did I miss something, or was February 5th always the release date?
Needless to say, the realization the games is coming out sooner then I believed was the happiest moment so far of 2016.
as reddit pointed out, advent troops really do sound like mr blobby

Still better than Bioware and their armors constantly clipping and flexing

I was expecting the later tier exos to just be power armor, it would only make sense as an evolution for a primitive exosuit. Putting all the fancy motors outside of the armor doesn't make much sense to me.
I'm not sure you know what "exo" means

Exosuit. It's in the name buddy.
It means outside. What's your point ? A crab's skeleton isn't powered from the outside, is it ? That would defeat it's purpose as armor.

It's an EXOskeleton base. It's designed for the outside, it is the same as the iterations of Exo-Suits the US Military made years back, hydraulic assisted limbs to help the wearer/occupant/user to have a lot more strength and durability. Less of an impact to stamina etc.
Opposite would be an Endoskeleton. If that were the case we'd be right back into EW with Gene Mods but to a more excessive degree. :v:
I miss my Titan Armor

The xcom one isn't just load-bearing though, it's meant to support both the armor and the mounted weapons, there'd be no point in having a bunch of servos sticking out if it can be avoided.
An exoskeleton can refer to both load-bearing exos and power armor, and i think it would be a better idea if the later tiers were just straight-up power armor since that's probably going to be a thing anyways. Just my opinion.
Like, wouldn't it be cooler if your dude could turn into a space marine terminator ? especially with the suits filling the roles of mechs and all.

Oh snap. Now I remember what gnawed at the back of my mind but I never could put my finger on it. I subconsciously missed those boobplates.
buddy do we have the alien for you

Let's just cut away from that thought and get to the thought that pectoid is the best alien.

Tbh I think they made the right call, The boob-plates look pretty stupid compared to the EW armor.
