I live two miles away from Levi's Stadium (where the super bowl will be). I can see the lights from my window. This weekend will pretty literally be
I live in Fremont and right next to 880. I'm not going anywhere that day
So how do I use a VPN?
I'd use a VPN so I could play tomorrow, but unfortunately I'll be at home and not my dorm so no computer that day. :suicide:
It's worth noting, that while I've never actually seen Valve enforce it, using a VPN to unlock a game early could result in a ban. Again, super unlikely, but still something to keep in mind. Section 3, A of http://store.steampowered.com/subscriber_agreement/
You agree that you will not use IP proxying or other methods to disguise the place of your residence, whether to circumvent geographical restrictions on game content, to purchase at pricing not applicable to your geography, or for any other purpose. If you do this, Valve may terminate your access to your Account.
Ever. Edit: Just don't buy anything on the steam store under a VPN.

Yeah, it's in the EULA but it's just for covering their asses.
makes me happy to know the dudes who made xcom eu get to go home happy again, too many shitty halfhearted sequels these days [editline]3rd February 2016[/editline] metacritic is still at 91
XCOM 2 GOTY?
XCOM 2 GOTY?
confirmed
That release time map does not correspond to what I'm seeing on Steam :/
That release time map does not correspond to what I'm seeing on Steam :/
It seems that valve or firaxis fucked something up when doing the unlocks, so the UK was mistakenly assigned to Zone 3. Maybe they'll fix it in time.
That release time map does not correspond to what I'm seeing on Steam :/
I seem to recall Beyond Earth having the same problem, but that it did actually come out by the time shown on the map.
It seems that valve or firaxis fucked something up when doing the unlocks, so the UK was mistakenly assigned to Zone 3. Just as a little update, since I was hoping someone would explain it, here is something for you guys to consider once we get down to making that Facepunch name list for XCOM 2:
19 hours till XCOM 2 :excited:

Otherwise manually clicking and finding people is going to get old fast.
I wonder if it'll be possible to merge or edit bin files. Otherwise manually clicking and finding people is going to get old fast.
Well I mean, in the end we're probably gonna do it like I talked about awhile ago, where it's just 1 guy keeping the character pool file up to date with the characters people have sent in.
Well I mean, in the end we're probably gonna do it like I talked about awhile ago, where it's just 1 guy keeping the character pool file up to date with the characters people have sent in.
Yeah but I'm thinking that person is going to be me. And there's going to be a lot of characters at launch, so I might have to hold off making my guys at first. That'd be much easier if I didn't have to do it with the menus.

Plus I'm not really gonna fuck around that much with the Character Pool besides the Facepunch thing since I don't really have any ideas on what to do with it.
Will anyone be posting a VPN guide for when Asia gets their release?
For anyone who wonders, I've already set everything up to host the FP character pool. So in other words PM me with YOUR file once the game is up. Well hey let's decide it on a vote.

Should I write an intricate biography or what?
