Yep.

Yes

Yes but it seems that if you name a weapon, it does not. Further testing is needed however, it might be a one off bug that I got.

Might be a bug you got. I had all my named weapons upgrade to plasma when that came around.
I spent my entire second campaign stockpiling and saving my best upgrades until I got better weapons :hammered:
Sectoids can reanimate mimic grenades. It's just supposed to be a holograph, what the fuck.

This game can be hilariously broken sometimes.
Well I think my campaign is doomed.
It's late May and I have 2 options really. Rescue a scientist and prevent a major avatar breakthrough, or make contact with Starya and kill a blacksite. I don't know which would be better at this point, the doom clock has 1 more blip before it's full.
I blame the fucking game for putting all these sites 3 sectors away from my start.

pls help

Slightly related to reanimation, I placed a reanimated zombie in Stasis and it T-posed. Killed the sectoid linked to it in the alien turn with overwatch and it didn't die after because it was still in stasis.
Stun Lancers are the new Thimints. Message brought to you by someone who beat the game but almost lost the final mission due to a 15 damage stuncrit god damn heatseeking stunlancers.
I have found out that any kind of overwatch hilariously just breaks Stun Lancers. Seriously, every time I have had overwatch on as a stun lancer tries his shit, he'll warp all over the place after hitting someone with the back of his gun (which does nothing, I may add) only to eventually end up in some place and shoot their gun instead of stunning someone. I've also, so far, had every single on of their follow-up shots miss.
All I can say is they really pose absolutely no danger to me anymore, unless something else takes over the overwatch, which rarely happens.
So I have Shadows set to All Shadows, and quality set to medium, yet there are no shadows in my game?

Just a reminder, you aren't expected to win every run of XCOM. Getting screwed over by RNG in combat can be lessened by changing tactics. Getting screwed by RNG in strategic is impossible to deal with at times.
Soooo where is the SDK? I wanna see how much effort it would take to make a voice pack and whether or not it would have to replace one of the defaults
I'm at kind of a loss as to what the game wants me to fucking do to not have my squad gutted every mission.
It feels like every single offensive option has a 70% chance of getting someone killed and the only way to avoid it is to magically kill half of the enemies on the map with your first turn of attacks, if you don't get it, you're going to take losses almost immediately.

to go along with this theres like a 50/50 shot of the battlescape rendering, and my UI barely exists and if it does its got its graphics all fucked up
I dunno what you're talking about with that first image Shen's black.
And all that second picture shows me is XCOM is recruiting heavily from the Nigerian Interior now.
But seriously what sorta GPU are you using and have you tried stuff like updating drivers, verifying the cache, or just restarting your PC?

Nah it's fine. Turns out skipping the major breakthrough was a good idea, it doesn't matter how much over the avatar project gets from full [sp]It will still do the countdown clock[/sp]
So I destroyed Straya's facility and now I'm not imminently doomed. Campaign back on track.
Welp starting over since I can't get enough down time between missions to get supplies and stuff
I feel like the RNG is fucked in XCOM 2, as in you'll either have missions where you never miss a shot and others where your top team misses 95%, 85%, and 82% shots back to back, and there is no middle ground.
Well I lost the game, I neglected to expand the resistance network and couldn't afford to get to any facilities to curb the Avatar project. Game's very rough. I guess it's time for round two knowing better.
I ran into my first Berserker on the [sp]Avenger Defense mission[/sp]
Motherfucker stomped one of my two rangers who were dealing with the objective. Had to carry him out.
Have an unrelated picture of my sniper aiming in the COMPLETELY wrong direction.

Well, my perfect starting Legendary run took a turn for the worst 5 missions later and I had to can it. I started a Commander Ironman run, and so far I've only lost 4 people. However I've done fucked up and did not understand the full importance of building the resistance network. Now I have 11 days to make contact with two regions and scan for a blacksite.
Time to be clutch.
OK I need some clarification for how 'Lid burrowing works. One just unburrowed at random and ran half way across the map and attacked. I swear I only triggered 3 'lids so where'd the 4th come from?

Her glasses make it look like she's blind, no wonder.
Is there a way to increase your chances of getting Elerium Cores?
Ran into an issue my last campaign that I started to only get drops from Advent personnel and I ran out of cores so I couldn't make any new advanced suits, ammo, or grenades.
