Actually, I've never seen any unit panic from being on fire, the flamethrower causes panic, but it's the attack from it specifically that causes it. Of all the things that makes soldiers freak out and run around like idiots, being on fire should really be one of them. BUT, in these first four missions on my ironman commander run, I've found the burning status to be immensely helpful since if it's applied to any trooper or especially sectoid I can basically ignore them Not sure how helpful though, I've been scrounging around the .ini files for at least twenty minutes and I still have no idea the exact chances of regular frags setting fire to the environment or giving the burning status. has anyone managed to save both of the two rookies in the intro mission is it even possible?
Playing through the tutorial in EW and it's the point where delta 2 says "it's over" The game crashes. Invasion over guys. We're going home

So I finally loaded that mission back up, apparently it hadn't saved yet so I managed to save my best guy. Except I lost my best hacker. So I know how to cheat Ironman, rage quit before it manages to save and try again.

Hey guys, I went around digging in the SDK and I was able to extract the in-game combat music (XCOM and Enemy turn versions). Welp, I'm done again. I encountered a gatekeeper on a VIP mission it fucking mindfucked the entire squad down to 3 health left, killed the VIP, and I quit before the rest of the squad could get stabbed by the Archons.

Maybe if we can have the skyranger drop em a little closer we wouldn't be having this problem!"
The real question is why the other Resistance fighters never seem to use their guns etc. aside from STOPPING convoys (and not engaging them further) when some of the Haven maps shows extensive armories with tons of weapons and ammo.
