You can add additional SoundWaveNodes to the SoundCue, and it will play in the game, provided that you connected all of them to the Speaker, like so.

Say if you have like 6 variations of "Order Confirmed", you can link them together like I did above, using the randomizer, ofc.
I realize that this is incredibly off-topic, but am I the only one that finds Xenonauts to be [b]way[/b] harder than XCom?
Bringing two Grenadiers with Heavy Ordnance and Salvo is OP. Bonus points for equipping a Ranger and a Specialist in EXOs, flamethrower and rocket launcher respectively, and hit an ADVENT city. Everything's in ruins, everything is on fire, every turn something somewhere breaks down, civilians scream and die. Embracing my inner terrorist.
Hadn't had that much fun fucking up the environment since Silent Storm. Shame Ayy's never let me try and level a building.

So how do you import sounds? This tutorial isn't very clear...
Also when I drag and drop the files it just plays them in VLC and doesn't even import them :hairpull:

It's a different style of game I reckon and I restarted my campaign a couple times before I got a handle on it but it ends up playing out the same way I think. You start off getting wrecked, and losing soldiers in Xenonauts is perfectly acceptable in my opinion but once you reach the end game you're pretty much demolishing aliens. You have to really focus on the airgame at the beginning; it's your lifeblood and try not to missile attack too many sites so you can level your troops and collect loot.

Go to your content browser, go to the bottom left, and click import. You can mass import files, but just to be sure, import at least one file. If you mass import 200 files, and it has errors, then you'll be stuck pressing OK 200 until the last file.
You can also drag and drop files, but I'd use the import function first to create a new package first.
I'll add this to the tutorial.
Does a higher will on psi ops guys make them better? Just picked up a pcs that adds 20 will, dunno if I should give it to the psi guy.
Also, be sure when importing wav files to create soundcues for each file, by clicking the checkbox next to Auto Create Cue. You might want to change the cue volume to 1, if you prefer.

man, XCOM 2 just caused my gpu to overheat and shut down my PC in the final mission intro. I was so hyped and then POOF. when I tried to restart the fan just blasted on maximum, it was a bit disturbing
thankfully the PC now seems to have recovered but I am not trying that again on my current settings

Will is only psi defence in this game. The Psi stat determines the effectiveness of psi abilities. You can increase it by training your operative (up to Magus rank) and by upgrading psi amps.

Ranger and Sniper in Spider/Wraith suits for the rappling hook and [sp]the ability to run through walls[/sp].
Two grenadiers with various grenade types in E.X.O./W.A.R. suits using a shredder gun/shredstorm cannon each.
A Specialist in an E.X.O./W.A.R. suit using a rocket/blaster launcher.
A Psi Op in an E.X.O./W.A.R suit using a plasma cannon as a bonus, weaker psi lance.
Every mission area is rubble by the time you complete the objective.

I'm glad I didn't go with an ironman playthrough to start. I'm encountering more and more frequently stuff like enemies not taking damage from proximity mines, floating in the air and not taking fall damage and such. They're not huge, but when there's a 4 mutons, a sectopod and 3 heavy mecs, and only the sectopod takes damage...
i want to download mods, but should i even download mods from the workshop? that thing where if the mod author decides to take it down which fucks up saves scares me.

No unfortunately not, you trade the extra slots for the bonus' you get with the armour. Only the standard suits get the three slots.
The SMG mod is pretty cool but the thing keeps fucking auto-equipping SMGs to my guys instead of their assault rifles. I've deployed with the wrong weapons twice because of that.
Okay, that tutorial I've posted before is missing a couple of things. I'm gonna revise it, then add some pictures. I'll post it somewhere once I'm 100% sure it works.
