Okay, that tutorial I've posted before is missing a couple of things. I'm gonna revise it, then add some pictures. I'll post it somewhere once I'm 100% sure it works.
Make sure it goes all the way to the beginning like how to get to the xcom 2 editor part
sent my char to the FP pool and imported the February FP pool; ready to kill some aliens. and this is Thor who was bestowed upon me randomly [t]http://i.imgur.com/ZcfKL1H.jpg[/t]
In my entire first playthrough I never knew that advent officers had grenades. Is this a commander+ only thing?
Still holding out for the TU and free aim mod. Anyone know if anyone is working on such a thing?
In my entire first playthrough I never knew that advent officers had grenades. Is this a commander+ only thing?
I was able to use Fuse on them in Veteran, but I don't think I ever saw them throw the grenades at me
Make sure it goes all the way to the beginning like how to get to the xcom 2 editor part
You'll probably want to read up on the quickstart guide in the documentation folder first, to get the hang of things in Modbuddy. If you can't find it, it is in <whereever you installed steam>\steamapps\common\XCOM 2 SDK\Documentation.
cat ears is nothing once people realize xcom is on nexusmods also is there no way to unlock the extra slots for exo/war suit?
Orgy after successful mission mod. The lewdness is in relation to how well you did. A poor mission has each squad member sadly jerking themselves off.
In my entire first playthrough I never knew that advent officers had grenades. Is this a commander+ only thing?
IIRC I've been naded by an officer on Veteran. On lower difficulties they're probably biased much more to using mark
An Officer naded me on its first turn on the tutorial mission. :vs:
IIRC I've been naded by an officer on Veteran. On lower difficulties they're probably biased much more to using mark
In three Legend campaigns (none successful) and two Commander, I've only ever seen one officer use a grenade.
In my entire first playthrough I never knew that advent officers had grenades.
Captured an ADVENT VIP, I didn't go into the mission knowing it would be a trade. Taggart was able to move 1 tile away from the LZ so instead I had him dash an overwatch so the other 4 guys could get out. He ended the mission like a hero, crying and hunkered down in a corner. Don't worry, I'll get you back. You even earned a promotion, things were going well before ADVENT decided to send their reinforcements on top of the LZ.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/zKr7vji.png[/t] Good to see that i'm already proving my worth.

Literally, "Missed!". I didn't know grenades had accuracy.
Grenades...don't have accuracy, though?
I'll never forget how rockets had accuracy, and how awfully a missed rocket could backfire :V
[t]http://i.imgur.com/zKr7vji.png[/t] Good to see that i'm already proving my worth.
You didn't get a kill that mission because you always did 1 damage less than was required to kill the enemy. In my last game you were my sniper focused sharpshooter. You proved to me that sniper focused characters aren't useless and that the sniper nerf was too much since everything else got buffed.
I know that the Mech's grenade launchers can miss, so maybe they do for aliens just so it doesn't feel like an ass-pull Alternatively because Advent is garbage at making grenades
Grenades...don't have accuracy, though?
So I thought, works different for the ADVENT it seems. Guess it's time for XCOM to be the unfair ones.
You proved to me that sniper focused characters aren't useless and that the sniper nerf was too much since everything else got buffed.
I actually suffer the opposite thing where i still haven't tried gunslinger sniper because [del] i'm too scared of change [/del]not having bothered trying it yet. :V -EDIT- Someone posted an article to the XCOMreddit which talked about both "snakes" and "mammaries" and now the thread is a literal porn dump.
I actually suffer the opposite thing where i still haven't tried gunslinger sniper because [del] i'm too scared of change [/del]not having bothered trying it yet. :V
Dude's bad-ass as fuck. I don't even want to upgrade from that big fucking revolver.
In one retaliation strike I pulled a berserker and two elite lancers. My sniper was able to take out one of the lancers, but the other five were completely incapable of killing a berserker out in the open. I thought it was all over for one of my guys, but then the berserker turned around and smashed the other lancer into the ground. Did not know blind rage was a thing, but thanks rng.

Now, if it scattered and completely missed, then that's an XCOM Moment™

Now, if it scattered and completely missed, then that's an XCOM Moment™
My first ever rocket shot in EU missed and killed two of my own soldiers. Learned that ironman wasn't maybe the best idea for playing the first time. I also stopped using rockets for a while after that :v:

It applies to your soldiers as well but largely only when in cover. I've had a grenade straight up miss one of my soldiers a handful times because of a naturally high dodge. Same applies to the aliens, particularly stun lancers. It's rare but it can happen. I think dodge is annoying as hell. I'd rather have a shot straight up miss than constantly see DODGE: GRAZED, DODGE: GRAZED, DODGE: GRAZED. It's what caused me to just use plasma blasters on pods of Archons with mind controlling than actually trying to shoot the fuckers. Of course, then you mind control them and suddenly all of the other ayys can hit them just fine.
I wish XCOM had the Shiawase Magnetic CyberArm from Shadowrun. When an enemy throws a grenade at you, it automatically flings it back and it's hilarious even when it misses. The AI was programmed to always throw a grenade when you had your units clustered together so I took advantage of that to get free grenades
step aside and watch how a reall man does it
I don't suppose that the character pool is still being updated, is it? I just finished my first campaign and want to immortalize my big fucking hero ranger that took down two full HP [sp]avatars[/sp] in one turn, then the third the next turn after being mind controlled, crit twice in a row from muton and being on fire with 1 HP remaining. She carried me and I hope that the luck of the fauxhawk ponytail can be transferred to somebody else in need.
I think this game could've benefited from different enemy encounter types - i.e. instead of running into a leveled mix of enemy forces, all the enemies in each mission would consist of Advent security sections, Muton clans, biotic weapons (chrysalids/faceless), or Alien overseers. As it is, there's a good variety of gameplay, but it's broken up chronologically instead of strategically. I've only encountered a single Muton berserker in my entire playthrough, and now I don't run into mutons any more.
