Are there any mods for changing a soldier's class yet? A few missions into my Commander run, Just had THREE rookies all promote to Sniper together, and I just I don't wanna
Watching Beagle play with mods. Turns out Shadowstrike is fucking broken OP for sword users. If you initiate an attack on someone who doesn't have LoS you get the aim and crit bonuses. You can even step out of LoS with your blue move to Slash the enemy with the extra aim and crit chance. A reason to consider it against Shadowstep.
So in XCOM2 the aliens are out in the open and don't hide anymore but it bugs me that they don't show how they interact with humans. Like do pectoids sometime hang out with humans and give them workout advice at the gym? "abs are made in gene therapy clinic, not the gym"
Would there even be gyms anymore? At least, in the city-centres? What about plastic surgeons? Traditional Doctors?

Did my first Skyranger defense mission on my 3rd play through attempt... Gained absolutely nothing on it. In fact, it was bordering on pure disaster. Lost 3 guys including some of my better men/women so that sets me back and I had to abandon one of my Lt.-level Rangers for the sake of saving the others before I lost more than I could manage. The losses were already felt; I am short on manpower and my men are getting hard to replace. Won't lie, I am pissed. This game makes ya mad all right. And this was on veteran difficulty. I commend those that complete Commander/Ironman. You guys have the patience.

You definitely deserve the victory.

I've avoided spoilers and discussion for this game almost wholly. My last campaign in XCOM was ironman impossible longwar, and now my first in XCOM 2 will be... The iron-man legend... But we're going in blind folks Only thing I know is customization is raw and apparently stun lancers are cunts. Wish me luck FP

I just realised what XCOM2 is in gaming in terms of modding. It's pretty much Minecraft - throw a bunch of mods, make a playthrough, change some mods around, make another playthrough. The game where you can mod everything.

I'm doing a Commander Ironman run right now. Just got my first squad wipe (with one captured) followed by three flawless missions in a row using a squad composed of character pool soldiers who were all fucking champs in my Veteran run.
Are landmines just superior grenades?
Would it be possible to port the voices from Imperial Guardsmen from the Dawn of War games?

Welp, defeated in my Commander Ironman run. Died very much, learned just as much. My psi warrior got poisoned, one turn from evac. Frantically tried to make contact with the nigerian interior so I could hit a blacksite with rookies and set back the timer but to no avail.
