Anything can get you banned according to rockstar, stop trying to scare people, anyway rockstar bans are handled in three different way.
You get put into the cheater pool, time can vary.
You get a full social club ban, time can vary on these, normally it comes from griefing reports.
You get a full social club ban and a email notice stating you've been banned by SCADMIN, this happens if you're caught actively cheating, these comes in a 3 stage ban. First ban is for a month or a day, second ban is a month or 3 months, third ban is 3 months or perm.
Depending on which admin it is that handles the ban, it can be any of the above but only the first two are "automatic" the last one is a manual ban handed out by SCADMIN.
SCADMIN ban emails look like this as well.

2nd update because my post didn't go through, actually got banned for like a month, misread the 28th as the 18th. never downloaded anything, just got a couple mil spawned by that random dude and thats the only time I've played for months. didn't get an email from rockstar.

I swear Rockstar are the only company I've heard of who seem to do the exact opposite of what the community ask them to do. They just seem to be getting worse and worse, not just from their attitude towards the modding community for GTA IV -> V, but the fact they're forcing everyone to use their pay-to-have-fun-or-get-banned/sued system. It's disgraceful.
The new Schafter is so good. The old Schafter used to be my most used car so this is an absolute delight for me.

All of those things you mentioned are probably things that you should be blaming Take-Two for, not Rockstar.

I sent a request with the Title "GTA Online - Character Appearance Reset" then specified which char I wanted and set the Topic to Other.

Those aren't hacked lobbies.
They're usually very one sided deathmatches with one way of getting a weapon that the Host knows and they run to it and then slaughter everyone in the lobby till they leave.
They title them 100k $ and RP to get people to join them.

Yeah, I was looking at Shark Card pricings because I was wondering how much real world money equated to GTA V products. According to Steam, one yacht (Not even, if the yacht is $9mil) costs $100 CDN.
One in-game yacht in the online portion of the game costs more than the entire game itself. What a joke. I do not blame people in the slightest for hacking money in.

A Shame they didn't fix the rear wheel width for the custom wheels, they go about 5 cm in when swapping from original to custom :(
