Logged in, drove around in my Porsche look-alike, got bored and logged out because I don't want to grind money.
I'm glad that before people started getting banned I gave myself 10 mil.
That I can blow through in about two purchases.

I've learned to live with it
and by that I mean I wear a hat
Yeah fuck this shit, I got fucking banned again til 14/2/16
Ditto. Mid game as well for me :( ( New ban wave )
(I stopped cheating :( )
Yeah I've been banned as well, never even cheated. Some dick modder froze me and dropped a million dollars on me and I couldnt switch sessions in time.
Worst part is I didn't even get a ban reason, and after making 2 support tickets and posting a community question it turns out they dont even give you a reason for the ban. and apparently i'm a cheater for spending the modded money, even though the only things i purchased were snacks and ammo, I was banned an hour or so after receiving the money.
10 days isnt long but im extremely annoyed how I was banned for something totally out of my control, and meanwhile I bet their system missed a whole load of people discreetly using scripts. I now have 1/3 strikes on my account. What happens if when I start playing again after my ban some modder drops more money on me? will they just ban me again? who fucking knows.
R* support is despicable.
Oh cool, I wonder if I got banned too, I have actually cheated recently.
[editline]15th January 2016[/editline]
I haven't been banned, that's disappointing.
so far i'm safe
dunno how i was never banned
went from $72 to $60.5 mil a few months ago and have spent $53m of that so far
did numerous flying rainbow party buses
was a big distributor of hackerbux
but no rockstar bans the guys who were frozen and given only $1m
nice job rockstar

nice to know that being ready to kick the power switch under my desk at ANY given moment is the only decent way to make sure my account doesn't get another strike, how am i supposed to feel safe playing online at all now given how anyone could easily drop money on me any second and get me banned with minimal effort.
the fucked up thing is I've received illegitimate money before and it would just get removed, even if i spent a tiny amount of it buying ammo or something, why am i now getting banned for this shit thats out of my control, i enjoy gta online but stuff like this makes me not want to play, hey maybe i could try one of those alternate online clients....oh wait nvm they're gone too
edit: JUST got an email saying "This is an automated message from Rockstar Games to inform you that your account has been flagged for violating our Online Features Code of Conduct and/or EULA" So I'm the bad one here for being a victim of a player who actually cheated, greeaaaaatttt stuffff.
what makes it impossible to quit is that the overload of cash causes the transaction error to appear
Which stops you from leaving through the menu
Hell even Alt+F4 has a confirmation message

I can't believe they actually told you to pull the power cord out of the wall. That's bad for your computer. Was that from the support team?

same thing here. ~90% of my earned cash since last-gen has been dropped on me by a menu user
are there any third-party MP's remaining? or did they all go down the grave due to take two?
everything about Online screams wasted potential

Wow, that's something for sure. I'm glad Rockstar has such good policies when it comes to their shitty money system.
if take-two told me to stop developing fivem I'd say "ok no problem" and then start releasing the same thing titled something like gtavmp exclusively via thepiratebay

If this is genuinely staff advice, they're opening themselves wide up to lawsuits stemming from software and hardware damage.
what about those of us with internal UPSes? are we just fucked out of our $60?
Oh boy I can't wait to get re-bannned one day after I get unbanned then at this rate, the 19th sure is gonna be a fun day.
Also can't wait to see I only have 6k in bank again, woooow.
If this is genuinely staff advice, they're opening themselves wide up to lawsuits stemming from software and hardware damage.
On the community support site, there are certain people who have medals or some shit for being "useful". This is probably one of those people instead of anyone actually from Rockstar Support.
I would host a IV online session if Gfwl wasn't a thing
did iv online never migrate to a different service after gfwl closed?
did iv online never migrate to a different service after gfwl closed?
It went P2P with GFWL removed, so nope.
So, unsurprisingly, with confirmed money-related bans occurring, the cheaters are back in full-force dumping bags on entire lobbies in an attempt to get everyone but themselves banned.
How did no one think this would happen.

I want someone's computer to be damaged by this so that we can finally get some kind of revenge against Take-Two.
I can't believe they actually told you to pull the power cord out of the wall. That's bad for your computer. Was that from the support team?
Is it bad only when the computer is running, or both when it's running or turned off?
Is it bad only when the computer is running, or both when it's running or turned off?
Running obviously.
That "advice" was from a "Platinum - Extremely Helpful Community Member" so it isn't anyone officially employed by R*, so I don't think people will be making lawsuits related to property damage anytime soon, which is a shame. My partner actually wrote those earlier posts here as we both use this account and we spent a good few hours last night on the support site trying to sort this rubbish out.
Helped her write out a ticket asking for a ban appeal and a reason for the ban itself, but it was automatically marked as "solved" and received an automatic response:
[t]http://i.imgur.com/9FKvuYT.png[/t]
We looked around in the community section of the website and found quite a lot of people claiming they were banned for receiving illegitimate money, whether they asked for it or not it seems the banning system doesn't discriminate when it comes to this sort of thing. Most of these tickets either have no reply or received the same treatment as ours did. So we decided to make a follow-up ticket demanding that we be contacted by a human employee but it has yet to receive any replies, I'm not really expecting to ever get one either.
So after that we asked on the community question area if there is a way to find out why our account was banned, to which we were told:
[t]http://i.imgur.com/B7WkBVc.png[/t]
Followed by posts telling us that we were likely banned for spending the illegitimate money, even though the only thing she purchased with it was snacks, ammo and armour, it's not like she made some huge purchase or anything of the sort.
Especially appalled by how that same "Extremely Helpful Community Member" a posted R* support number we could call. My partner is mute so I had to try ringing it, and it just gave me an automated message saying how the numbers are no longer in use and that if there are any problems we are to go to the support site, lost all hope at that point, they can't even provide up-to-date contact details.
Seems the ONLY way to contact R* is to make a ticket which will either get ignored or closed by a robot. It's beyond a joke at this point.
Oh, also forgot to mention a random support ticket was made on OUR account saying "This is a complaint regarding a ban." which received the same automated response as the one I posted. So I have no idea what happened but a post was made on our account without our consent and without us knowing, we changed our password prior to logging in so it clearly wasn't someone else, at this point I really have no clue anymore.

A ticket is automatically submitted and solved whenever you are banned. I honestly don't see the point of it, but it's something that happened to my friend as well.
It went P2P with GFWL removed, so nope.
gfwl didn't close at all, everything is still where it was
IDK what the point of having a support system is, if you can't handle the problems of your customers. Most of the people that reply are careless and offer no help whatsoever, they rush everything to get results and don't care if its negative or positive. They also ban indiscriminately and target people who have suspicious stats and punish them even if they're innocent. On top of that they spam automated messages and don't care what you have to say. Their systems a total joke, I'd say more pathetic than STEAM support.
Rockstar makes grindy missions that reward shite, heists that get old fairly easy and mini games that don't really go anywhere besides a simple night of fun with friends. All the vehicles/homes they release are expensive and are targeted towards sharkcards and people need to hack or nolife their way instead of spending real money to get luxury they probably won't use after a couple hours.
And people wonder why we need stuff like GTA5MP. Made by people, for the people.

huh
I finally got a response from rockstar after a week
"Thank you for your patience. If you like to make a suggestion for changing the appearance of the characters bodies, please submit a suggestion to GTAOnline@Rockstargames.com. We appreciate your feedback."
It took them 2 weeks for this, 2 FUCKING WEEKS
Maybe R* was replaced with robots.
At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if R* stopped making games and just disappeared.
