God, I've never raged so hard at this game. The fucking King of the Castle event is so shitty for so many reasons.
open shute right before touchdown?
Is there a video for this?
highest fall without dying, someone won with near 60m how
They probably fell through the map
Is there a video for this?
I don't know, you just open it really late, you'll get slown down enough to survive
God, I've never raged so hard at this game. But again, i find it a real shame that Rockstar just doesn't seem to give a shit about singleplayer anymore.
open shute right before touchdown?
It doesn't count it if you use your parachute, though.
It doesn't count it if you use your parachute, though.
Huh, it does work when you need to survive a fall for a daily
Basically that one's a contest of who's higher level, because higher level means more health and more health means higher height you can survive a fall from. Some of the challenges were really poorly thought out, like the stoppie distance contest, where the first minute is people asking what the fuck a stoppie is.
What the fuck is stoppie?
I think some places might call it an endo, but I've rarely heard it referred to as that.
Ambient sound selection is so bare. I was expecting so much more.
Well, people are back to modding now, and out of the two lobbies I played in, one had 28 players with one constantly being framed with mass explosions, losing all his money in the process. Seeing this as a sign, I feel I made a good move and just spent the 500-odd thousand from the last heist I did with you guys on an expensive car, so if that happens to me I won't have much on hand to lose.
What's the lowest distance you guys have seen in the "deploy your parachute closest to the ground" challenge? Lowest I've gotten was 2.6 feet, though in another session I saw someone get 2.0.

Doing the Coyote Cove Triathlon. After nearly 30 mins, the finish line is in sight. "Grand Theft Auto V has stopped working." :suicide: [editline]fuuuucccckkkkkkkk[/editline] Second attempt, I somehow missed the second to last checkpoint. Third time's the charm, right?
Doing the Coyote Cove Triathlon. After nearly 30 mins, the finish line is in sight. Every single NPC in that race was a dick.
The way it's supposed to work is everyone races to the vehicle. First person to get in the vehicle gets to do the event. Which is kill Merryweather then you get 20k.
Wow, what an incredibly exclusive event. I'd just came from a job and I'm pretty sure it spawned me near the kill list on purpose, but maybe not. For real though, that's so far away from the concept of all the other events, which has been where everyone can participate (even if some of them are kind of broke/unbalanced).
You can become very popular very quickly by driving an unusual car around, I've learned. "You're the first person I've seen who has X" turns into "Can I give X a try?" which pretty frequently ends in "Wow, I'm buying X now. Thanks man, add me."
Unusual is pretty much the only thing I ride. Although my Washington is FBI-styled, so the color's not very unusual. My red-ish Vigero didn't get me any friends, everyone just shoots me on sight. Just like real life...
Remember to always bring a parachute with you when you go flying doing those freefall events. My female GTA character being only level 2 learned that the hard way but thankfully landed in a body of water. So yeah I heard Flapper Bob is back
So, tried some free events on GTA. Well yeah, no content, but lots of bug fixes, that sure gives a bit of hope. Anyway, i was just thinking about players locations on the radar. I think R* should remove that. Because every player knows exactly where you are and calling Lester on the phone for calling out a "Removing you off the radar" for $500/$1000 or whatever the price, but the whole idea is....meh. And it will only last for 1 min! Imagine no more player locations on the radar, it would be way more exciting. You could even hide in the city, while now you actually really can't. Even if someone chases you, you can get away from it. Or surprise attacks! When a player wont even know what is coming! And for the crew members in a clan, yes of course they will have the radar location on, and friends. Why can't R* do this yet? It is really stupid when you are in a combat with someone that did something to you, and is knowing exactly where you are. It is not really fun to play that way.

Would be nice if you can only spot player on the minimap that is in your field of view, kind of like deathmatch, since everyone treat freemode as a deathmatch anyway
2 years have passed already already
I say no blips on the radar AND no server-wide voice chat. Make chat a function of distance, so you can only hear them if you're actually close to them; otherwise, if you want to talk, you have to use your phone. I call this Loneliness Mode. Of course, the best use of Loneliness Mode would be to play creepy music over your mic to freak people out while you're stalking them and get close.
I say remove player blips but add a killcam so you get to know where your aggressor was when he killed you, allowing you to counter-attack or run away fairly. And don't remove the blips of your friends and crew members.
Friends and crew members always have blips, others only have blips if you can directly see them. Players with very high mental state will always be visible however (to warn others), as well as bounties.
What ever happened to Chemical Extraction? I haven't seen that mission in the list for a while.
The improvements to the Creator are fucking amazing. What used to be impossible is now relatively easy. I hope we eventually get the ability to make 1 team cooperative jobs against NPCs though.
