Heists with a competent team are a great way to make money very fast. The downside is that they get old fast and two of the heists are complete shit(Prison Break and Series A). If you manage to find a reliable team, I highly recommend getting things like All in Order, Loyalty, and Criminal Mastermind done. You might as well not even bother playing with pubbers on heists though, otherwise you're going to be frustrated or laughing your ass off at how fucking dumb people can actually get.

That's just it, I can't exactly find a group of people to do heists with and I'd probably be classed with those "pubbers" since I have limited experience with GTA: Online. I barely played it when it first came out on last gen and haven't played it much since it was released on PC. I'm only level 17 with average weapons.
I don't know anyone who has much contact missions done, but I'll keep an eye out for more invites to them. Yeah I've ruined a few missions due to being one shot in once or twice but other people died more than me. Well I think on hard mode (which most people do) a death ends the mission cause it always does that when I'm in it.

You should be able to get help from some of the active members of FAPS if you're in the Facepunch crew. When my connection isn't too shit or when I'm not busy, I'd also probably be willing to help out. As for my mention of pubbers, I'm not talking about people being inexperienced, it's more the fact that most random players will ruin everything regardless of whether they're level 200 or level one.
I believe I have most contact missions unlocked, so that's always an option if you find no one else. Hard difficulty shouldn't fail you for dying unless your entire team dies and is out of lives or if you're playing the Lowrider missions.

In the interaction menu (hold select/back on a gamepad, I think it's "m" on keyboard by default.) scroll down to "Daily Objectives" and click it, it will tell you the things you need to do.
Also, if you need someone to do missions and stuff with, I'm always willing to join, provided I'm online. Still need to go through all of the heists on my slot 1 character. Not bothered about the difficulty or payout, I just need to unlock the vehicles and gear. :v:

That used to happen to me sometimes, but it's not happened for a long time. Either that was a bug, or they've changed something.
Vaguely responding to the money earning topic:
I think VIP work in a private session is the best way (in terms of a fun/reward/time balance) to earn money. You typically get around $20,000 for each person taking part and they're all fun missions that you can play in different ways.
Me and my friends will usually do the Hostile Takeover mission at LSIA or the Merryweather docks, but when we're bored of doing it normally we'll roleplay as different characters, like FBI agents taking them down with appropriate weapons like M4s and M9s and wearing certain costumes. Most recently we did the LSIA mission as hick bounty hunters in a Moonbeam, I powerslided into the hangar while my friend rolled back the slidy passenger door and sprayed the shit out of them with an AK :v:
They're great to mix things up, the only real let down is that someone has to have over $1m in order to become a VIP and start them.

Just had the weirdest bug happen.
A friend of mine got killed by cops, so i take one of the abandoned police cars. One of the cops got in the passenger seat and we drove around for a bit, the cop would shoot at anyone i crashed into even other cops.
I ditched the police car after a while. A few minutes later, my friend gets in my car while he has the cops after him but for some reason i didn't get his wanted level. Turns out i couldn't get a wanted level anymore, i could do whatever i wanted and shoot as many cops as i wanted without them reacting to it. Has anyone else had this bug?

No, it seems to add just the Banshee and Sultan RS at Benny's. We also got the Drop Zone adversary mode. No idea if there is anything else yet, but I did convert the Sultan I bought today to a super car.

The update's files apparently hint that we'll be getting Valentine's 2016 with new clothing as well. There doesn't seem to be any new clothing at the moment though, so either my game is bugged or it'll be activated at a later date.
