Unless the game has somehow continually bugged itself in my favor, this is false. Been doing my dailies on both characters each day for months. Oh, and another thing to keep in mind is that they reset every day at 1am ET (2am during Daylight Savings in the US).
Whenever I've tried doing them on my second character after doing them on one character, they're all ticked off as completed.
I really wanted to create a PMC-esque community within clans, is there something like that? I created Mammoth Security LLC based off the Mammoth company, we would be using heavy vehicles.
I recently got back into playing GTA online. Any tips on how to earn money and RP quicker?
Heists with a competent team are a great way to make money very fast. The downside is that they get old fast and two of the heists are complete shit(Prison Break and Series A). If you manage to find a reliable team, I highly recommend getting things like All in Order, Loyalty, and Criminal Mastermind done. You might as well not even bother playing with pubbers on heists though, otherwise you're going to be frustrated or laughing your ass off at how fucking dumb people can actually get. Contact missions are a nice way to earn money if you have a friend who has most of them unlocked or you somehow get lucky and you're given invites to them all the time. You earn more money with the more players you have, but I wouldn't trust pubbers because they're usually dumb as fuck and will ruin the mission fast. The plus side to these is that if someone dies, it usually won't fail the mission. VIP Work is also a great way to earn money and RP. You can either do some of the jobs alone in a private session or you could get some decent players and attempt to do them in public lobbies. The latter isn't so bad now that trainer users aren't very common after the latest ban wave. Daily Objectives, explained above by Chaotic. Not very fast, but really easy to get done. Freemode Events aren't too bad if you want a quick buck for little to no effort. Just don't do stuff like wasting excessive amounts of ammo just to get first in some events. Even if you aren't in first place, you'll still earn some cash. Random jobs that aren't contact missions can range anywhere between being fun as fuck and absolutely awful. They'll earn you some decent cash/RP, but it isn't the quickest way. These are pretty much all the best ways to make money/RP in this game. Most other stuff simply isn't worth doing in my opinion.

I barely played it when it first came out on last gen and haven't played it much since it was released on PC. I'm only level 17 with average weapons. I don't know anyone who has much contact missions done, but I'll keep an eye out for more invites to them. Yeah I've ruined a few missions due to being one shot in once or twice but other people died more than me. Well I think on hard mode (which most people do) a death ends the mission cause it always does that when I'm in it. VIP work has been shit in my limited experience. No idea how to view daily objectives on PC. Freemode events are alright and haven't done much random jobs.

When my connection isn't too shit or when I'm not busy, I'd also probably be willing to help out. As for my mention of pubbers, I'm not talking about people being inexperienced, it's more the fact that most random players will ruin everything regardless of whether they're level 200 or level one. I believe I have most contact missions unlocked, so that's always an option if you find no one else. Hard difficulty shouldn't fail you for dying unless your entire team dies and is out of lives or if you're playing the Lowrider missions. Daily objectives can be accessed through the interaction menu(press M by default). They range from doing jobs to stealing vehicles from the military base. Some are a bit annoying to get, but they aren't too bad.

I'd appreciate a hand if you ever could sure. Ah I get you now. Wasn't sure what you meant, I'm not like that. I'd make an effort every time, just no promises I won't end up biting the dust. Oh that's good, well any time I've done hard mode missions with people we had 0 lives and when one person died the whole thing failed. Every time. And thanks, for that. I heard about dailies but had no clue where to find em
No idea how to view daily objectives on PC.
In the interaction menu (hold select/back on a gamepad, I think it's "m" on keyboard by default.) scroll down to "Daily Objectives" and click it, it will tell you the things you need to do. Also, if you need someone to do missions and stuff with, I'm always willing to join, provided I'm online. Still need to go through all of the heists on my slot 1 character. Not bothered about the difficulty or payout, I just need to unlock the vehicles and gear. :v:
Whenever I've tried doing them on my second character after doing them on one character, they're all ticked off as completed.
That used to happen to me sometimes, but it's not happened for a long time. Either that was a bug, or they've changed something.
Vaguely responding to the money earning topic: I think VIP work in a private session is the best way (in terms of a fun/reward/time balance) to earn money. You typically get around $20,000 for each person taking part and they're all fun missions that you can play in different ways. Me and my friends will usually do the Hostile Takeover mission at LSIA or the Merryweather docks, but when we're bored of doing it normally we'll roleplay as different characters, like FBI agents taking them down with appropriate weapons like M4s and M9s and wearing certain costumes. Most recently we did the LSIA mission as hick bounty hunters in a Moonbeam, I powerslided into the hangar while my friend rolled back the slidy passenger door and sprayed the shit out of them with an AK :v: They're great to mix things up, the only real let down is that someone has to have over $1m in order to become a VIP and start them.
Anyone else with a Franken lose their livery recently? Mine had the flames decal and it's gone. Won't let me re-buy it or apply any others. [t]http://i.imgur.com/aJNLzc1.jpg[/t]

So my friend just got unbanned from modding (even though he never messed with anyone just spawned us cars to drive in) He got banned again today from spawning one motorcycle, you think Rockstar would unban him if he talked to them?
I think he should stop spawning shit in like a dumbass.
Sounds like he didn't learn his lesson :unimpressed:
I think he should stop spawning shit in like a dumbass.
Hes a newbie to online modding and such. He thought as long as he didnt show off anything or did anything he'd be fine but obviously not.
R* support is fucking amazing. /s
Hes a newbie to online modding and such. He thought as long as he didnt show off anything or did anything he'd be fine but obviously not.
Don't mod things in heavily regulated online games, especially ones so ban-happy as R*.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/y3JvN5h.jpg[/t] Anyone else or just me?
Had that yesterday. It was gone After a few minutes.
Just had the weirdest bug happen. A friend of mine got killed by cops, so i take one of the abandoned police cars. One of the cops got in the passenger seat and we drove around for a bit, the cop would shoot at anyone i crashed into even other cops. I ditched the police car after a while. A few minutes later, my friend gets in my car while he has the cops after him but for some reason i didn't get his wanted level. Turns out i couldn't get a wanted level anymore, i could do whatever i wanted and shoot as many cops as i wanted without them reacting to it. Has anyone else had this bug?
Hes a newbie to online modding and such. He thought as long as he didnt show off anything or did anything he'd be fine but obviously not.
Why would he even do this? It's against the rules, no exceptions. You'd think he'd get the message the first time.
450MB update on the Steam version for me. Anybody else getting an update? Apparently some new stuff at Benny's. [editline]g[/editline] Oh my fucking god, they added the Banshee and Sultan available as some very customizable cars at Benny's.
Got an update on PS4 too, Newswire doesn't say shit
Oh shit this is out of nowhere [editline]28th January 2016[/editline] And im still at school. So is this the lowriders 2 update?
Oh shit this is out of nowhere [editline]28th January 2016[/editline] And im still at school. So is this the lowriders 2 update?
No, it seems to add just the Banshee and Sultan RS at Benny's. We also got the Drop Zone adversary mode. No idea if there is anything else yet, but I did convert the Sultan I bought today to a super car. Fuck yeah, finally the real Sultan RS!
oh my gooooooood
The update's files apparently hint that we'll be getting Valentine's 2016 with new clothing as well. There doesn't seem to be any new clothing at the moment though, so either my game is bugged or it'll be activated at a later date.
I got the PRB livery, I don't even care. This sultan is pure cancer, I love it. Pic later.
Finally, now I am oficially able to drive anime in GTA V.
