Fantastic. I go into first person for a few seconds by accident and the whole one minute recording is now suddenly useless. Wish there was a mod which disabled this annoying ass limitation for first person recordings.
iirc the game tells you view switching doesn't work in recording
iirc the game tells you view switching doesn't work in recording
the game tells you but it doesn't make it any less annoying most people i know like to switch between third person and first person during gameplay and not being able to do that if you intend on recording something is annoying, especially when you forget you're not supposed to go into first person.

Thought that was Sleeping Dogs for a moment.
holy fuck the dirt bike ruins the character though imo, give it a streetfighter motorcycle like pcj-600/ruffian/vader/akuma
Yeaah, shortly after I did these I somewhat regretted not using the single headlight version of the Ruffian. I'll probably use it in the next set or w/e :v:
Speaking of the Ruffian, is it possible to get the version without the rearview mirrors in GTA Online?
Speaking of the Ruffian, is it possible to get the version without the rearview mirrors in GTA Online?
Yeup, I believe that's the more common version of it you'll find in downtown and Vinewood. That's where I find them at least. [editline]when[/editline] Took a few more with a friend, hope you guys enjoy 'em! I have the thing set to push a button to capture the last moments in case something fun happens with friends yet which isn't seen on camera well, to then edit onto the sound from a shadowplay recording. I like first-person a lot but because of that limitation i'm afraid of ever touching it since the editor can give such glorious camera angles for clips, or it can just help for me to see a scene which i didn't see happening myself, just heard the reactions of my friends.

My keyboard cut out while I was trying to learn how to fly with numpad, and I managed to strand myself on a roof. Send help.
Serious question, why wouldn't you just bind flight controls to WASD/QE/CtrlShift? It's really weird to me they'd map them to the numpad in the first place, considering all other vehicle types use the ground movement controls and they don't have special mappings on a controller.

Yeah the numpad has been used since GTA:SA for the PC releases. I've kinda gotten used to it.
Never played SA with keyboard and mouse actually. Completed the PS2 version (yes, even the RC plane, which was before they fixed the fuel dropping too fast), and played the PC version near to completion with a 360 pad compatibility mod. Either way, tradition is possibly the worst reason to keep a strange control scheme, IMO. I don't even HAVE a numpad, a lot of PC makers are lopping it off to cut costs or make stuff smaller.
Well it wouldn't fit the WASD correctly because there's more to it, there's pitch, yaw, roll, etc, plus adding or decreasing power from the engine. I could see Q being increase power, E decrease power, W forward, S backwards, A lean left, D lean right, but then there is turn left and right missing because I can't figure a setup for them at the moment.
W > Pitch down S > Pitch up A > Roll left D > Roll right Q > Yaw left E > Yaw right Shift > Throttle up Ctrl > Throttle down/reverse Swap roll/yaw or invert pitch to taste. [editline]t[/editline] I believe this is either the ArmA or Battlefield scheme.
W > Pitch down S > Pitch up A > Roll left D > Roll right Q > Yaw left E > Yaw right Shift > Throttle up Ctrl > Throttle down/reverse
Ok yeah that would most likely work, I just might be the oddball out that likes the numpad setup :v: Here's a challenge, fly with your mouse by holding the left mouse button. It'll make the mouse like the aircraft's controls. It's sketchy as fuck lol. [editline]7th October 2015[/editline]
I believe this is either the ArmA or Battlefield scheme.
Remove shift and control, and if the helicopter angles were controlled and kept in pitch by the mouse, it would be 100%. I hate in GTA having to hold the analog sticks or the keyboard buttons down to keep the angle.

I know which I prefer, and I know which has allowed me to outclass everyone else in the sky. I'd never fly using clusterfuckclawhand bindings.
I hate in GTA having to hold the analog sticks or the keyboard buttons down to keep the angle.
On a slightly different note, having cruise control/autopilot for keyboard and mouse would be nice. Hit a button while you're going at the speed you want, and release the accelerator/throttle. You'll maintain that speed/thrust until you brake or something stops you (or until the collision sensor overrides it in an aircraft)
Does trip skip reset the All-In-Order challenge?
Does trip skip reset the All-In-Order challenge?
Maybe not reset, but skipping will make you ineligible for it.
