Fucking with trolls is so much fun.
Some guy wanted to repeatedly kill me. So I go into passive mode. He pulls out a flare and throws it at my feet. I didn't realize it was an air strike until I heard the jets. I panicked and jumped into his armored kuruma in the back seat. He jumps into the front and tries to avoid the missles but one hits us. He kills me, himself, and he has to pay for his own insurance.
If you are the sort of person who bitches about others using passive mode, you are probably also the sort of person who nobody wanted to play games with when you were a kid because you'd tell everyone how they're playing is wrong.
And nobody liked that person.

When I toggle it, I specifically don't want to be fucked with. That's it. I don't want you to mess with my shit for a while because I'm busy. Is anyone else having trouble with mouse flying? Lately it is getting "stuck" in the last direction I've pulled it. It's really annoying because it rules out any kind of precise airplane flying, and with keyboard I struggle to even get missiles on target with each tap of the key shifting me a full screenlength up / down.

using A and D to yaw is totally busted for me, it either sticks and leaves me turning constantly or it moves me far too much and takes ages for the rudder to go back to its original position, doesn't matter what keys i rebind it too either. apparently its only happening to people who fly with the mouse and use keys for throttle/yaw

Yes! That's exactly what's happening for me as well. Did they change the handling? Flying with max skill was like trying to ride a wild horse, but at least it reacted to your imput. Now it literally feels like the vehicle has a mind of it's own and it has little interest in what I want to do...
I've been experiencing this too, it seems to stop when you release the left mouse button.
I was going as fast as I could in my lowrider, and accidentally hit F when I was trying to look behind me, aaaand my car was gone.

i think they just generally farted it up somehow with the update as per usual, i think i'm gonna have to switch to keyboard-only for when i want to fly, which will take a little getting used to

Nothing better than being first to the King of the Castle location only to have a script kiddie ruin the fun by taking all of your guns and going in god mode.
Not to mention I think they've figured out how to toggle local collision, so they can make players fall through the ground over and over until they restart the game.
Happened to several people in the last session I was in. The way they described it, the ground un-loaded for a split second and they fell through, and when they got teleported back onto the map by the failsafe, the same thing immediately happened again, repeating infinitely.
How come you guys are still playing public lobbies?
Playing with just crew is fun but I'm never on at the right time for the big ones, so it's either play with four crew members or play with twenty randoms.
While the latter is risky, it's at least never dull. Not saying I don't enjoy smaller sessions, but big ones are a lot less prone to "So uhh... What now?"

If you're a Resident Evil fan at all, you could join the crew I hang out with, "UBCS Delta Squad". We play together most days, and are very friendly.
