Do you get banned from GTAO just for having mods in your game files still?
I want to buy the new stuff but GTAO is absolutely not worth the effort of constantly removing all my dank mods

If you're the slasher and the time ticks over to them having Shotguns, turn off your flashlight and never use it.
The hunted will be too gun happy and keep their flashlight on, leaving them exposed to easy kills.
so i have the lowriders update, which is supposed to have the halloween content? but trying to go into online says i don't have certain files required to play and i can't download them from the rockstar game service?

I can't seem to get into Online. It says the files required to play can't be downloaded from Rockstar Games's servers and throws me back into SP. I tried fiddling with firewall settings to no avail. Is this happening to anyone else or am I banned?

Join the club, I looked for multiple fixes but nothing worked. Apparently it's just a generic "you can't reach the server right now" message. And I played the game yesterday and it worked.

Actually ran into some other Facepunchers on the PS4 for the first time last night playing Slasher. Chains! and Taggart, I think? Only got to play one game to get a taste of it, though, since I had other things I had to do. Hoping to get a lot more in this weekend.

Slasher is only really great if the Hunted don't melee, otherwise it's just a deathmatch.
Do you reckon these new facepaints will be available after the Halloween event? Sugar Skull stuff is the the kinda shit I've wanted for ages in the game.

If it's timed, it will probably be only available for re-purchase which kind of sucks, they don't give very much time and stuff's really expensive.
I'd rather have it as a repurchase than not at all, the stock facaepaints are awful.

GG, I was trying to download the update and join the FP event when my updater said it couldn't connect to the servers. I tried again, and suddenly it lost my login info - I put it in and made an accidental typo.
Now my account is locked for a few days until the halloween event is over. Now that's spooky
Edit: Nevermind, R* support helped me out really fast. Are you guys still playing?
How does putting in the wrong login info lock you out for over a week? That's the only thing I'm still having trouble understanding. At least support helped you out.
To clarify for some people, the Fränken Stange is pronounced "Frenk-n Shtang-eh". Stange means rod, so, franken-rod.
If you'd rather not deutsche yourself to death, at least say "Franken Stang-a" and be mostly correct.

Who am I in a Prison Break heist with right now? This has got to be the first time I've actually been in a game with a crew member. Every time I try to join a session with crew members is always says there's none available, so it was a bit of a surprise to see someone with the crew logo on their jacket.
