I think my main issue with first person is that the default sensitivity and acceleration is whacky. What do you guys have yours set to?
Personally, whenever I play with a controller I have acceleration off and sensitivity near maximum because that's how I play console shooters.
Acceleration makes camera movement less jerky, but in frantic moments it becomes unpredictable in terms of how far you move the stick versus how far the camera moves. Disabling it will be jarring at first but you won't miss as often due to your PoV not moving as you expected it to.

default sensitivity is usually meh in any game.

I wish we could sell Warstock vehicles, my main has so many that I don't even use. It's basically the same problem with stocking too many weapons. I want to replace the Technical with an Insurgent but I don't want them both taking up space.

You can disable each and every one of those. You can even disable the blue job markers on the map now. Check your M menu.
