Saying that I do miss the tug boat as well. Nothing's more fun then smashing the AI to bits in the water with your massive boat. Downside being given the amount of current assholes using the mod for dickish purposes I would imagine it would be like GTA 4 all over again with people spawning tug boats in all over the place just like they do with that UFO already. THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS.
Also makes me sad that we don't get to use the andromeda either, the amount of drama in the sky would be hilarious
So I've been playing vanilla-style modded San Andreas lately, and I've been having a blast.
I have a widescreen mod, remastered HUD (just higher res assets), GInput for native-like XInput functionality, various bugfixes from SilentPatch, SkyGFX for the PS2 color correction and vehicle reflections, a frame limit adjuster for steady 60 fps. Everything adds to that "san andreas that I never knew" feel. SA didn't really stick with me back in the day: I severly disliked the RPG elements and all the weird side-activities like girlfriends; and with all the technical problems it added up to a love-hate relationship with the game. Now everything is a lot more enjoyable.
I really recommend people that feel burned out from GTA5 to have another look at SA
I know people hate on douchebag trucks, but I think I good a good job nailing the "Overfunded Security Contractor" look :v:

I wish there was more outfit slots, I have to keep deleting the least used ones which I still use a lot on regular basis.
I wish there was more customization period. So many shirts you should be able to wear with jackets, pants with shoes, etc.

APB did this the best. Half the reason people played that game was to customize a character and play them with other customized characters.
Unfortunately most of the time it fell into the saints row "lol look at me im so random" trap and that's most of what you'd see. People in neon green and pink, people in their underwear, people who don't know how to express themselves other than being eyesores, or they're so desperate for attention they reach for outright absurdism to stand out as much as they can.
I'm not saying creativity or the ability to express oneself is bad, it's just... People with no creativity (and no sense of humor) sour it heavily for everyone else whenever that much flexibility is on offer.

My relation to this is unreal, GTA gave out a lot of options for customisation anyway and I agree with the fact that 80% of players don't even bother to put in an effort is quite sad to say seein as the guys at rockstar put a lot of thought into pretty much every single style and dress sense to suit mostly everyone.
APB was an amazing game for customisation and I couldn't put that game down for like the first two years haha.
It would be great if GTA had a system like Saint's Row 2 where you just pick based on Undershirts, Overshirts, Coats and so on
The way it works right now is just too weird
The only thing I'd want from SR is the ability to choose a voice for your character, which they use to interact with other characters in cutscenes.
Like, six presets per gender with twelve pitch settings. That would be fine.

There was no actual release or proper demonstration of GTA-MP that we ever got to see, so I'm not really concerned about this. FiveM is playable and has been released for ages now, so nothing of value was lost really.

I've gotten loads of money from random hackers just dropping them. I'm kinda reliant on them now cause I know at some point another hacker will come in and just start dropping money everywhere.
FYI, all legal action is now being done by Take-Two (Rockstar's parent company), not Rockstar itself. Some of it is even being done without Rockstar's knowledge or input.

It's dead you have to call merryweather for them and kinda funny that you have to call a private security firm to deliver possibly the most primitive improvised explosive going when you can buy hand grenades, remote and proximity explosives from a gun shop.
It'd be interesting if you could make them from bottles of beer and petrol in your inventory. Crafting lol

Meh minigun and rockets is fun lol.
IMO the jerry can is still the funniest weapon in the game. Slather the back of someone's car while they're afk, and the moment they start accelerating, their exhaust flare will ignite it and engulf their car in flames.
In my experience, you only get blamed for this if you're within draw distance of them when it ruins their car, and even that's only sometimes. Sometimes it blames THEM.

Haha I know too many people in social club as the joker. Never can be sure if it's the same guy or a lot of people really really like him. Shame there isn't some sort of batman DLC so you can go around fighting each other, that would be funny to watch
