I really really don't want to do rpf modding as it means It's another thing I have to keep switching back and forth for if I want to do director mode mods and then online stuff... but I just had to make an exception... BUT HOW COULD I SAY NO TO THIS? [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16349584/GTAV/271590_2015-09-10_00001.png[/t]
Set up a mods folder. That way when you want to switch, all you have to do is move the dinput8.dll file out of your game folder and the game will ignore every mod, since you aren't modding the original files.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/rQeqYNl.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/hs2MAX1.jpg[/t] I'm really starting to appreciate the Tailgater as a "drive around comfortably in first person" car Bonus points if it's dusk and you've got something chill playing on Self

That'll make things 10x easier. Thanks!
Doesn't sound like a bad update so far. Hope it doesn't end up being another case of good idea, but awful execution though. Also, from the IGN article: Source
Holy shit, the leaks were right this time? Or was R* inspired by the hype? :v:

Thanks!
Not even moving the .rpfs. You copy any rpf file you want to mod (x64e.rpf for instance) into this mods folder. You'll have to look up how to structure the folder but it's pretty simple. OpenIV.asi tells the game to load the version in the mods folder on top of the base game one, so if you remove dinput8.dll (the ASI loader I believe), the game won't see the mods folder and will just load the normal files.
Everybody always complains about freemode being too hostile, but these new events are going to make freemode even more hostile.
Everybody always complains about freemode being too hostile, but these new events are going to make freemode even more hostile.
Well, one thing they're going to do is concentrate all that hostility into a specific zone you can avoid if you want. You can just watch from a safe distance for fun too, maybe even sabotage it if you're feeling mischievous. [editline]t[/editline] Rather than reducing the chaos, what they're doing is encouraging it, but legitimizing it in entertaining ways to keep players' minds off of griefing eachother for no reason.
So how is online mode right now? I kind of gave up on GTA V a couple months ago, but I'm thinking I might start playing once again.
Seems like they're done with updates for 360 and Ps3 http://mashable.com/2015/09/10/gta-online-rockstar-interview/#JspV_M.fISkH
The Freemode Events update will be the first to come to PS4, Xbox One, and PC only. We managed to pack in two years’ worth of free updates onto the older platforms, but after the release of Heists we started to run into some very real memory constraints. We knew moving forward that the game’s online performance could be in jeopardy if we continued to pile in new content. But after some creative programming, we were able to deliver the two-part Ill-Gotten Gains update. Moving forward, we knew that we could not make any more meaningful updates without putting the stability of the entire game at risk. By focusing on the opportunity with these newer platforms, it will allow us to do some exciting stuff in the future, and the Freemode Events update is just the beginning.
Maybe now we can get animals online [sp]lolnope[/sp]
I'm honestly pretty excited to see what they bring to the table now that PS3 and 360 are out of the picture. They have a lot of potential to turn GTA Online around. Who knows, they might pull a Destiny and completely revamp it.
thanks for letting me wait an additional 2 seconds before racing while the others are able to take off already, rockstar
Nah, it's a penalty for driving a handbag :v:
I've gotten a de-sync start before where I was able to go before the countdown. I won that race by a long shot.
So is the heist thing with Flak and the boys happening tonight?
Broughy may make a new tierlist series with long races in mind (which would favor different vehicles) [t]http://i.imgur.com/6rKUcOL.png[/t] Some people might not care, but I'm all for a more complete picture of what's best to use when.
So is the heist thing with Flak and the boys happening tonight?
Probably.
Also, since I know at least some of you are still using menus online, is there any chance I could get some help with something? The sunroof on my blista compact is missing the cover panel, and there's no way to put one on at LSC. The only way to get a covered sunroof is to constantly re-buy the car from SSASA and hope you get lucky. However, it's something you can change using a menu via the extras section when modding a car, and it CAN be saved after doing so.
Hooray I'm unbanned!

They supported the legacy consoles much, much longer than anyone was expecting.
I need my crew to assemble! I have the Pacific Standard finale left to do from before I was banned, and that'll make me a nice bit of cash.
I was about to do some push-ups, but I guess it will wait.
I need a fourth.
I thought you guys would be doing this way earlier in the day. Little too late for me, unfortunately. :saddowns:
I'll be doing more heists tomorrow probably, since I'm poor as fuck.
I'll be doing more heists tomorrow probably, since I'm poor as fuck.
please do somewhere in 7pm CET
I guess I'm up for heists today, but please bother with me as GTA V is now my only source of BSoD's :^(
