Also, if you find abandoned Laika definetly check it out, it might contain something useful.

Apparently pretty much anything can spawn in the abandoned car at your garage each time you load the game as well. There was a HSK Squash engine in it today.
Also tires are worth quite a lot. It's always worth grabbing extras from the garage even if you don't need them just for the extra money.
Is there anyway to get past the [sp] Bridge [/sp]? i get to that point and they just say they are closed for repairs.
That's the end of the game for now, each country will have different landscapes and Hungary isn't done yet.
is the game worth the price as of now? I'm on the edge of buying it atm :/

Well, it's in Early Access right now with loads of bugs so it's up to you to decide. Wait a month or two and it will be better.

Remember the steam refund policy. You could try it, and if you dont like it get a refund.
If you can't punch other drivers after ramming you off the road, the game is bad

You should probably be on the lookout for My Summer Car.
I'd be surprised if that won't be in that game when it's finished.

I really wish the dev(s) of Jalopy all the success the're hoping for. Personally, I'm holding back for now due to the price (if I didn't limit my budget and set a minimum game time/price ratio for Steam games, I'd end up broke within days), but this really is a unique idea, and a good one if you ask me, and that needs to be rewarded.
For anyone that's interested: My Summer Car is (probably, not official yet) going to be entering early access somewhere later this year probably around late summer / autumn.
Oh and you're already able to punch, swear and flip people off in MSC.
Neat, he answered my question about car handling on his blog
Fantastic game. Will car handling change in the future? Seems to handle perfectly with no understeer or oversteer on dirt or tarmac and braking distance is very short regardless of terrain at the moment.
Yes, I’ve changed the Acc deAcc with last patch. I’ll work more on handling when I add the ability to manipulate it from the player.
Awesome. Is that a recent announcement? I've been looking everywhere for anything about a release date.

The dev told me he was most likely aiming for an early access window around that time, but this isn't officially announced yet so don't get disappointed if it changes in the future.
I won't be revealing too much but if you want to stay informed of the latest news check out the MSC Steam group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/mysummercar and the Twitter page: https://twitter.com/mysummercargame
Right now I wish for more responsive AI drivers. Imagine crashing your car into some decrepit FSO Polonez and hear a loud "O KURWA!" from it.

Sorta like GTA drivers, only in Czech, Polish and Russian.
"SUKA BLYAT!"

remember to keep your dashcam on
I'm desperatly trying to imagine 90's dashcam.
It keeps crashing after it tries to load the next section a third time. I'm guessing it's memory leak or something.
Or I need to get a better computer.

True... putting something like this on the dashboard would probably require some engineering skills and then turn out to be a major safety issue as it'd block about half of your view out the windshield..

New update is out: http://steamcommunity.com/games/446020/announcements/detail/597101416435306070
all right boys, I'm a proud jalopy owner
Apparently a recent patch has caused the cursor to not be constrained to the game window. Pretty annoying if you have multiple monitors.
A new update is out:

This is a cute little game, but really lonely feeling. Good time waster.
